Well, for one we've been in more modern wars than they have... untill after world war two they were an utter mess. The only modern confrontation that they have been in was the korean war, and the troops they sent failed miserably. We have been in world war one, two, korean, vietnam, operation desert shield/storm, Iraq, and afghanistan. I dare say that we DO have WAY more experience with modern warfare. There is also our superior technology, the fact that we control ALL reliable GPS, and our army is better supplied. We also have huge tactical advantages, like the amount of military bases we have around the world, along with a big rapid deploy force. Face it, China is nowhere near the level the US is at.
