I'd like to nominate myself :P Let's see, I've been interested ever since I decided to ditch my piano lessons and start playing from scratch, back when I was 10. My father had an old concert grand that I played on a lot as a kid. Now look at me! Making real music :D Nowdays I compose audio for short films and commercials, and submit the things I do for fun to NG. Everything make is very classical. As far as software goes, I use and old copy of Reason (2.4) and a Roland XP-50 keyboard. I've really been bothered because I've submitted 25 songs, and the most reviews that I have on any of them is 5. I need more feedback so that I can improve my work :D My profile can be found here:

Are we allowed to post old songs, or do we have to make them specifically for this contest? 'Cause I have lots of good sad songs completed, but I can't drum up any ideas for new ones at the moment.

Yeah, East/West=Teh Awsum. Now I just need to reinstall Cubase. Also, thanks for the help guys. I usually don't venture very far out of my little "Reason Cave" when it comes to music software :P

I was wondering, does anybody know if there is a way to use patches from East/West's Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra (silver edition) in Propellerhead's Reason (version 2.4)?

You have to export it into iTunes. After that you just convert the selection to mp3 and delete the old file.

Go to file then click export audio file. The file sould appear on your desktop, control-click it then click "open with." Open it with itunes, then go to advanced options and select "convert selection to mp3."
