Hmmm.

This is very frustrating for me. I have a break where I have nothing to do from the 29th of August to the 10th of September when school starts.

If it was the weekend before, I'd book flights today : P!

Any of that is cheating, in my opinion. If you're dating someone, the only thing you should do with anyone else is hang out, talk, and give a hug.

I kiss my grandma on the cheek.......

Ohhhh my godd...... So I've been cheating with MY GRANDMOTHER?!?!?!?!

57 caches.

And a bat cave!

Did you get as far as you wanted to? You had almost 1/2 left of what you set out to do!! Another day I guess.

I went caching today and I found an interesting one that was in a building in a boat then a container! I couldn't find it once because I didn't catch on that it was on the inside! Once I did it was obvious. It was a really great cache. I only have one more in Cayman to do, and it's a difficult multi one. I have to wait for silly Jordy to help me out because my GPS doesn't do very sensitive projections. Boo at him!!

I am going to hide one that's a PVC pipe!

I want to hide a really devilish one here in the Cayman Islands, but I don't know what to do for it. In Halifax we have caches put out by a fellow named durango, and his are always evil to the core. I want something very tricky to find, because all my other ones here are fairly easy to find!

Yes, unfortunately Sask doesn't have much in the way of entertainment, though you could go to Rouleau to see where they film Corner Gas. You could also hang out with my family, that is approx. 10 miles from you. If you come back, we can hang out the last week of August, I'll be there for my cousin's wedding.

Sure, but that's in practice! If they like meat, or animal rights/environment isn't a priority, or they don't have time to make a proper switch, that's all disagreements with the practice, but I've never heard a good argument regarding the principle!

doctormcgee, I challenge you to find one essential nutrient that is in meat and is not in other products.

B12 doesn't count! B12 comes from bacteria!
Vitamin D doesn't count! We get vitamin D by the sun!
Essential amino acids like arginine, histidine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionin, phenylalanin, threonine, tryptophan and valine all come from plants and bacteria originally.

Cows are big, strong and fairly healthy, if not very bright. They eat grass.

Think of simple trophic levels when considering why raising animals is worse than raising plants. How much plants would a person have to eat before obtaining their fill vs. how much plants a cow would have to eat to have their fill and how much the person would have to eat of the cow to have their fill.

Only about 20% of energy goes from trophic level to trophic level. So by reducing the number of cultured trophic levels, ie. plants -> people, from plants -> cows -> people. We're reducing the amount of environmental energy used up.

It's very, very simple. I really don't know how people can argue with vegetarianism as a principle!

It's not gonna kill you. Hell, it'll probably be better for you. There's no such thing as a replacement for meat taste wise unless it's made from some artificial test experiment(aka artificial food made in a lab as such as fruit snacks, frozen pizza, etc) that will be just as bad as you think meat would be bad for you. If you're a veg, and least stick to what you're going through for. Soy meat is still meat.

I'm going vegetarian because of higher, non-sensory, desires. There are plenty of things I would love to do, but chose not too. For example, I don't really want to have a shitty job, but I might have to get one so that I can afford to go traveling etc. I'm also still transitioning, I haven't learned how to cook with tofu and other things and so in the mean time, cooking what I used to cook but just without the meat is a good way to become vegetarian while I learn how to cook without use meat replacements.

Another question I have, and this is quite a controversial one, why do vegetarians go veg for the wellness of animal rights? Hell, if I would of known better, just as many if not more animals are being slaughtered due to the collection of grain and what not with farming tools. Read this artical and see for yourself if you think you're protecting the environment: http://www.thebestpageintheuniverse.net/
c.cgi?u=grill

My family members are all farmers. NO animals get killed during the collection of grain. The only animal deaths in the collection of grain would be rabbits who don't understand that that big machine has blades, and run into the blades, which I've only seen happen once. I try not to name call when I argue, but here I can't resist, that statement is stupid. Absolutely stupid.

I'm not even vegetarian for animal rights, I do it for the environment and the animal welfare is just a nice perk! And Maddox, REALLY? REALLY? That's a joke, I bet he has never in his life eaten 3x the meat because he was in the presence of vegetarians. Say there is 10 vegetarians in this thread and you want to spite us all, can you even eat 30x your normal meat consumption without exploding?

It's all still being collected by farmers that really don't care about the animals they kill, as long as they get some pay.

What a lovely blanket statement!

Tofurkey or Yves are good if you want deli type meats. Boca and Health Is Wealth are good also.

Veggie Patch also makes really delicious chicken nuggets that taste like the real thing! I don't know if they have eggs or milk in them though, but they're in the specialty food aisle at Sobeys!

Thanks!! I'm always looking for vegetarian recipes, right now I'm just cooking what I would regularly without any meat, so it's lacking a little bit of spice, but I soon move to a new place with a HUGE kitchen and so I'll have so much more space to cook. I went to a dietitian that my school has to make sure that I wasn't missing anything important, and she said that vegetarianism is really healthy if done properly and good for you!

I can't imagine not manscaping, personally. Of course, I'm hairy as hell, so it's necessary, and I only use a pair of small hair scissors, but christ, I can only imagine what would happen if I didn't trim down there at all.

I can't imagine a guy not manscaping either. It doesn't need to be clean shaven or particularly done, but at least some maintenance is definitely needed.

It did hurt a little bit, but it wasn't super painful!

So here it is. It's made out of a sweet dumpling bread, to which the recipe is a secret I must die with for the sake of my family, it's tasty and sweet and very delicious. This is it raw, it's cooking right now, but I doubt it will be as pretty because it will get crispy and even more delicious when built. The pink is cherry flavoured, the brown is chocolate.

You just get more hair as you grow older.

That would be a fair point but then why has the change in thickness and colour only happened where I shaved? My arms remain thin and blonde and very less hairy than my calves. My thighs too, which I don't shave, are also blonde and thin. The hair on my legs has a very different feel and texture to other parts of my body that I don't shave. There has definitely been negative effects of shaving on my legs such that I wish I had started later in life. I might have gotten away with not shaving, even, because my hair is naturally thin and blonde and it doesn't grow very much.

Fun fact.

Well it's not really a myth, I can see it happening on my legs, it used to be fine blonde hair when I was like 13 years old and now it's coarser and thicker and darker! Sure, it probably doesn't happen to everyone, but it does happen to fairhaired ladies like me.

I don't see how either of those relates to bikini waxing, but I'm going to the Dominican Republic, and while I normally wear shorts with my swimsuit, if I go tanning, I'd like to not be a hairy beast.

Not to mention all the disposable razors I would go through, and it also causes more hair growth.
