Cool little exercise. Knocked this up a while ago, just a bit of basic shape practice on perspective.

If you find this picture particularly sexy I'd assume that 'foot fetish' is a common Google search for you.

Lols, only idiots google 'foot fetish' then you have to trawl through SO MUCH XXX STEAL-YOUR-CREDIT-CARD-DETAILS SHIT haha.

That's pretty good :) nice job. It's a TAD hard to tell what's going on, but after a second you get it ^_^. I like it =). Try going over the characters with *slightly* darker lines, it'll make them pop outta the background a little more.

Though geckos are not dinosaurs, they probably descended from them, and are more like dinosaurs than lots of other species.

One of the biggest, and best value online headshops available. Amazing quality glass bongs and ice bongs from $30! =)

I'm ordering one when I get my own card ;-) but for now I'll stick with the one I bought from my local.

I haven't animated in SO long. So this is nice to get back in with an exercise =) Luis you better keep making these threads =p. And keep 'em simple ^_^

Topic: News: I got into University! =D

Posted: 11/28/08 01:29 AM

Forum: Flash

Hooray! Breaking news =) a few days ago I got a letter from Queensland University of Technology saying that the portfolio I submitted for a course was accepted. So it's official ^_^ next year I'll be attending to start a Bachelor's Degree in Animation. How cool's that?

A lot of it WAS down to this site I must say, great community, lots of inspirational content, I spent a lot of time here drawing, practicing, animating etc. I developed my passion for art and animation in general, and now I'm off to learn how to do it (or something like it) as a career!

Obviously I'm not going to be jumping straight into disney movies and stuff (which is what some of my friends assumed it was about). But there's all sorts, I could end up in advertising, design, storyboarding, or some studio jobs etc. The course is very studio orientated and I'm really looking forward to it. The uni is very well connected as well which I'm relieved for, apparently animation is a tough career, but about 12 students got offered full time jobs at an advertising company last year while they were still studying.

This is a portion of my PORTFOLIOonline that I used to get in, the animations are really nothing special, just a couple tests thrown in there to show I'm up for it. The first year is almost 100% about drawing for animation anyway, so that's what they were after in their folio. There was also about 30 pages from my sketchbook, but the free online service wouldn't let me upload it all.

So yeah, thanks NG for all the laughs =D it paid off for my future ^_^.

Hey guys. So if you're into the heavy metal scene and like a wide variety of sounds, give these guys a quick listen if you haven't heard from them. They've just released their third album, Fortress, which I HIGHLY recommend getting. It's a really fresh sound compared to some of their older stuff from what I've heard.

Some very technical guitar and bass work, alongside some stunning vocals, Rody (their singer) has improved dramatically since the last album and his range is really quite impressive. So give them a listen, see what you think!

Wikipedia classes their genre as 'mathcore', which describes extremely technical metal with hardcore influences. I know nothing of the hardcore scene, so I don't really get all these odd genres. I'll say it's metal and enjoy it.

And let's not have much hating alright? If it's not your thing then fair enough, this sorta music isn't for everyone's taste =) so respect it ^_^.

Protest The Hero - Sequoia Throne
Protest The Hero - Bloodmeat

TO be honest I think Fortress is their best work yet, while still very technical and talented, their older stuff sounds considerably more poppy, largely due to the vocals. Still respectable though, Kezia is a good record and their EP has some nice tracks on it =).

Enjoy!

This is disgusting. This is the Video Game forum, why on earth make such a couple of awful posts? So this kid has 8 posts, that automatically targets him for needless abuse, despite following all the rules, posting a relevant thread in the correct forum. LTMatt, you need to take your negative bullshit elsewhere, what do you have to achieve?

Also Mario does live in Brooklyn, great film.

Also I don't have animal crossing, so I can't contribute to the original point ;-) sorry, but yknow, what's up with these users?

Man, that sounds a hell of a lot worse than the millions upon millions of children who don't even eat a meal a day slowly starving to death in third world countries. I mean, DS *and* PSP? That's not too good man...and heck you have some acne!?! That'll easily take up to a year to clear up if you wash your face with product. At least if you had AIDS and didn't eat you'd be able to starve to death fairly quick.

Why must you suffer so?

Hey, posted this thread similarly in General, didn;t get much of a response.

Any heavy metal fans, guitarists etc hanging around the audio forum? I just recently played a set with my band, Emperium, and managed to get some great quality recordings of our songs, if you're into some thrash metal and Metallica covers, then have a look =D

If you're interested, I'm the one playing bass guitar/vocals on the right.

MORTUARY(original song, tinny recording on my audio page)
ZEITGEIST(original song, recording on my audio page)
FOR WHOM THE BELL TOLLS (Metallica cover)
WHIPLASH(Metallica cover)

Enjoy ^_^.

Nice one dude, first gigs are always a laugh, and someone like AC/DC is a great first one to go to.

I've been to a few, each line is a new show, support acts and stuff, good fun.

God Forbid and Trivium
Firewind, All That Remains, Dragonforce
Fury UK
Arch Enemy, Trivium and Machine Head (Black Crusade Tour)
Lauren Harris, Behind Crimson Eyes (shitty), Iron Maiden
Killrazer, Synperium, Children of Bodom

All very awesome shows. Hoping to get some Soundwave tickets soon maybe, In Flames, DevilDriver, Lamb of God would be who I'm showing up for.

Topic: Best place to hide a body?

Posted: 11/08/08 11:04 PM

Forum: General

I read a post somewhere, might have already been mentioned here.

Apparently the best thing to do is get all the means to slowly cut the body up and flush it down your toilet. Easily spend a day doing it. Wear protective clothing/dusk mask for the smell, make sure your bathroom is well ventilated and theres plenty of cleaning products to help with bloodstains. Have a hacksaw to make sure you can grind bones up properly, slowly send it into the sewer piece by piece.

Etc.

If it was me though, I would seriously consider finding a remote spot to bury it and just do that, at least a few miles away from where I killed them.

Oh okay, now go watch the rest of our videos and see what we're about. Our vocalist is brand new, so for his first gig he was awesome. Watch Whiplash where he does a better job. And when it comes to scream vocals/backups I can fit the bill.

Whiplash = Good performance by our new singer.
Mortuary/Zeitgeist = Mostly my scream.
