alright now.
just downloaded the flash 30 day demo, so i need help quick!
how would you create a lightish effect on things? its hard to explain, but one example would be the light and dark side on the buttons on newgrounds, it is also on the top of dobble's head.
or is their a way to change the opacity of stuff? and how would i evenly coat something with stripes.
preloaders? replay and play buttons? fading in and out? shading on objects ( like the outer borders of the pages here)?

i've got no explanation for this.

if your using a mac, garageband can tend to be kickass.

yah it does fail in comparison, but keep in mind that the first one is about a foot by a foot and the second one is about 3 inches square
