I'm sorry I just don't care that much, if you're not smart enough to summarize it in a sentence equal in length to the one you already posted I really have nothing else to say.

A TL;DR has been posted, if you can't be asked to go find it then that's your problem. Now either shut up and go away, or read the damned TL;DR and make posts that are relevant.

This goes for anyone else as well. I'm going to start banning people for psoting ' wut is happeneing here lulz!' from this point on. It's been summed up at least 4 times to my recollection.

Democracy Muffins:

Muffins thata re given out to people when they vote.

This is how my University gets people to vote in the Student Union elections. Chocolatey muffin shaped bribery.

So my University newpaper has a section called ' Three Word Review' where they, ironically enough, post a three word review of a film. This weeks review was of Watchmen, which I might add I actually enjoyed when I went to see it, though the sex scene on archie was jsut painful.

The review consisted of the following three words:

Giant Blue Penis.

A greater review has never been written in the history of man.

Cockjoke!

Eh, as long as they're amusing parody threads are fine. If not, then bans for the people who make and post in them.

'Cause Wade said to leave the thread open, and until he says otherwise, or locks it himself, us mods aren't goin to contradict him. It could still prove useful for soemthing. Besides better all the shit be here than spread all over the BBS. This way its easier to manage.

You're kidding me right? EVERYONE has heard of the Smiths. They're shit in my opinion, but are one of the msot influential bands to come out of the 80's.

Depends on what sort of newsday it is. If its a slow one it might make the local Norfolk news or something of the sort. It would almost certainly make the local newspapers, so it might be worth keepign track of the papers in that area for the next few days or so.

Nonetheless, let the circlejerk about saving the day continue.

I posted this in the Birmingham meet up thread but I'll psot it here as well.

I'm no longer going to be able to make it on Saturday guys. My apologies but real life has got in the way and needs to be dealt with. It's nothing major in the sense that I'm npt phsyically harmed or anything like that I'm just knocked for 6 so to speak.

Have fun, and I'll try and make the next meet up where hopefully shit won't be flying in my face. = (

Response to: Brum Brum, Uk Birmingham Meet Posted March 12th, 2009 in General

Yeah... bad news guys. I'm afraid that I'm now no longer able to make it. Some stuff's come up that's a wee bit personal and I don;t wanna go into it on a public forum, but the short end of it is I'm not going to be able to make it to the meet up.

Really sorry but real life is getting in the way and must be dealt with.

Stupid real life...

I picked up an Album by a band called Vision Divine. In typical OTT advertising fashion the album was described as being a revolution of melodic metal. It was not. It was in fact rather dull and boring in that it was really cliche on the listening I gave it. Maybe it'll grow on me, but at the moment I'm gonna stick to other bands...and rocky Horror Picture Show... had the timewarp and Sweet Transvestite stuck in my head sicne last Tuesday...
