I really want to start doing some more composing, so if you like my work, then i'm open to doing anything, for free of course. I would really like to hear what you guys think of what i have made, it's a composition for a scene in the film Spirited Away, i created all the music and added in all the foley/ sound effects myself. Enjoy, and thanks for any feed back.

Blind Date-artists Needed Posted January 19th, 2011 in Collaboration

I've begun a short animation about 1 1/2 minutes long based off a comic strip I made years ago, here's a short description:

An Eastern European man is expecting a lady friend for dinner, as he's geting ready a simple effort to open his wine bottle turns into the worst case scenario, which leaves much to the imagination of his date.

I'm looking for an artist (or more) who believes they can make failry decent backgrounds for outdoor and indoors, although I'd prefer a 50s style Ren n Stimpy look, you have free reign with this as long as it matches the style of the characters I'm animating, I'm doing the pre-vis right now and will have something more concrete next week.

Here's an attachment of the comic strip below, I've obviously altered and lengthened the story for animation purposes. ;0)

Here's a list of who I'm looking for:

-An artist (or more) who believe they can make failry decent backgrounds for outdoor and indoors, although I'd prefer a 50s style Ren n Stimpy look, you have free reign with this as long as it matches the style of the characters I'm animating, I'm doing the pre-vis right now and will have something more concrete next week.

-A female voice for one line and an expression

-Someone to assist me in making a decent preloader/replay once the project is close to finish.

I already have someone in mind for the voice of the main character, if he's not available I will make a request here. so stay tuned.

Feel free to write in this thread or preferably PM me if you're interested. :D

It does make sense if you think about it, she's obviously attracted to him for whatever reason, probably because she subconsciously wants to get with his dad, but seeing as they're best friends and he's married the next best option is this younger version of him, if he goes for it it'll give him more confidence for future relationships.

To the original OP, whether or not you choose to go for it is up to you, I'm not telling you what decisions to make but if you do go through with it, keep in mind that your parents would not approve of it (your mother wouldn't anyway) so you'd have to use discretion, personally I think this is a golden opportunity to share this experience with an older woman early on in life and you'll gain sexual confidence early on in your life which is always a bonus.

I've experienced this problem enough times that I now copy backup versions of all my .flas a lot.

I don't do pirates, I get all my programs legit, this is CS4.

I was copying a bunch of objects/frames, I didn't try it as much as I did on this one particular project, so my CS4 is completely screwed because of this? hopefully they'll give me a refund or something :/

At 1/9/11 05:25 AM, Sam wrote: Can you open other files, or create new documents? It sounds like Flash is missing an XML file.

I can open the files aftert the popus, but there's no layout.

I looked in the folder where it mentioned the missing file and it's actually there, I uninstalled and reinstalled it 3 times already, this hasn't fixed the problem, I'm stuck :/

I was just copying and pasting layers when suddenly this message came up saying I couldn't save due to an unknown error, so I quit Flash and open it again.

Now it doesn't work, i says this instead:

XML parsing fatal error: Invalid document structure line, file: /Users/(my computer)/Library/Applicaton Support/Adobe/Flash CS4/en/Configuration/Workspace/Animator.
xml

I searched for the file and it's intact, I have no idea what's going on but Flash isn't getting pas these popup messages and it won't open.

Has anyone else had this problem before?
