personally, i like mario a little better because I CANT THINK FAST ENOUGH to enjoy sonic.
It's been restored. That means its been returned to its original state. There's no cure. I might be wrong.
Remember Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction? Does any Russian speaker want to help transcribe phonetically and translate what the random Mafia dudes yell at you when you drive by? In particular, one that sounds kind of like Mah-yohv-neech-ka-bok-kah. What is that? This has literally been bothering me for years.
as you may know, overrated and underrated are just opinions. You just aren't into wacky team and class-based multiplayer first person shooters with hilarious dark comedy.

Isn't that a first person shooter? Sorry, maybe I wasn't clear. My bad. I meant, like, third-person, run around, take cover behind walls and columns and pedestals and crap.
You know the ol' pop and shoot cover based system. Take cover behind chest high wall, hold button to ready weapon and expose thyself. Release to wipe blood off face. but what game first used it? Gear of War seems like an obvious choice, but I recently played manhunt, which had it too (albeit awfully implemented, but still). So what game started the most ripped off mechanic in recent games?
PS has anyone seen MINDJACKERS? i will blow up my PS3 before I am forced to play that game.
I actually enjoy playing on live and having 9 year olds call me a jew faggot more than i enjoy playing on psn in UTTER SILENCE. Seriously, anything is better than the soul-crushing silence of psn.
i've heard some people giving first gears of war 2, then uncharted 2, then final fantasy xiii a lotta flak for being "TOO linear." what? too linear? yes they're linear games, nobody's denying that thanks for pointing that out. wait what? you are whining about this? why? i remember a time when every game was copying gta's sandbox style and people were whining about this. now they're whining about a structured, cohesive gameplay experience? what, was super mario bros a terrible game because it went from level to level? open world and linear games have their own place in the world. what is the deal with this trend?
except, you see, most of those games you consider 360 exclusive can also be played on the pc (as opposed to ps3 exclusives) and absolutely EVERYONE owns a pc.
It's like MGS! Brooottthhheeeeeeerrr!!!!!
why boobs are so... zuh? sorry, i was distracted by something. ask me again.
I'm not jellyous, but I bet the Cnidarians are! hahahahah budumtish

they canceled 24 :(
i'll be feeling it soon enough
Oh, yeah heard about this. Luckily, I never got into 24 that much. Also forgot to mention Six Feet Under. how did I forget that one?
classic anti-humor joke dat. thanks for reminding me that people still care about the more obscure forms of comedy.
You know when you start some series and go "hey this is pretty good" and later on in the series, you start to grow attached to the characters and by the end, you are PRAYING that everything will go well? and then it's over. conclusion, denouement, finale, termination, finito. It is the worst feeling in the world, amplified a million times if it was a brilliant conclusion that wrapped up everything and a million more times if it was heartwarming in some way. this has happened to me after Harry Potter, Star Wars, Futurama, Metal Gear Solid 4, Seinfeld, and now, Avatar, The Last Airbender. I have been some sort of depressed for the past 5 days and am hoping by getting it off my chest a little in some way will help. well, that's all. comments are appreciated.
Ok, so we all knew Jim Sterling of Destructoid is a professional troll. But recently, he's gone outside the boundaries of good taste. 4.0 That's what he gave FFXIII. By no means is FFXIII a perfect game, but a 4.0? This directly contradicts another article written by a respectable journalist on the same site informing us that FFXIII is flawed, but still very good and even gives 10 excellent reasons to play it. What the hell is with this guy?
Incidentally, 4.0 is lower than the score he gave Transformers: Rise of the Fallen, another shitty rushed movie-based game from an already almost universally hated movie. What the hell?! Can ANYONE justify that?
Y'know, I've always been saying video games are much better for conveying emotions than ANY OTHER medium. Would I have been so touched and genuinely happied (happied? wha?) by the good ending of Bioshock if I hadn't spent 16 hours playing as Jack and deciding the fate of Little Sisters? No!
Question. How long does it take a newly released game to hit the used section of Gamestop? And how much of a markdown is there usually? It took me a week before I saw Fallout 3 used after it was released and it was only $5 cheaper. But that's only one game.
i have my computer mouse. shit.

I love Resident Evil (more than Call of Duty), but dude that's just stupid. Then again you probably like Michael Bay movies as well.
hey you! mr. condescending! it's game "endings." did cod4 end with a nuke?
porygon's cool and all, but he's got nothing on mr. mime
OK, nice job getting hung up on superficial details.

so, uh, you just gonna make an unsupported statement on a thread in which I specifically asked why people think the way you think?
my fave is FFVI cuz of how much emotion it packed despite its obvious limitations.

I haven't seen most PS3 owns say this game sucks because there is a Xbox 360 version. Its another game I want, next to Mass Effect 2, and I don't know another game.
wait what? is the decision the fact that it's multiplatform? that's old news. if not, WHAT?! what is it?!
there is already a major joke religion with a spaghetti monster.
WHAT! You sold a Wii and are now planning to sell your 360?! WTF is wrong with you! Get all 3 since it seems like it's entirely possible for you. PS3 is best, followed by 360, and then Wii, but ALL 3 have their strong points, whether it be PS3's power and IMHO best exclusives, the 360's Live and Gears of War, and the Wii's GODDAM AWESOME NINTENDO 1st party games! And Sega's contributions too. My dream would be to have all three.
I'm surprised this hasn't devolved into a fanboy war yet. maybe humanity has hope. anyway, PS3, because of all the great exclusives, IMHO superior to other consoles' exclusives. Ex: GOW 3, Killzone 2, Uncharted 2, InFamous.
