As for fairness. Changing this system would require a halt on the portal, running a program to double the rating of all of the current entries, and then up the portal back with the new system. The average top 10 instead of being a 3.54 would not be a 7.08 which seems a lot better when dealing with the newer scale.

well, let's just move the top ranked portal entry up to a 9.5 and set the curve at that. it'd take a little work, but it'd be worth it!

Because for reviews, it takes time to write them, and in some ways, it is more accurate than voting. Anyone can click the button, but taking the time to fill out the boxes, and write a message is a little more time consuming. I'd be curious about the top 50 ranked reviews. And someone obviously cares, it's in the statistics chart.

that's the biggest crock of shit i've heard in a long time. many reviews for movies like Final Task and stuff are 0. That's blatantly corrupt. Dude, how can the Final Task be an overall 0?

Not everyone takes the time to do a quality review, unlike yourself and many other portal reviewers.

Anyway, Wade, I think that the 5 point scale is too small. I think somebody else, P-Chan maybe, also backed me up a long time ago on this, that movies are kinda in the middle. If we had a Larger scale, such as 7 or 10, then i think it'd be better.

Would it be practical to allow multiple deposits for experience. This first one at 5 votes, the second at 100 votes, the third at 250 votes? Are there more ways to earn experience? Could there be? What should they be?

Tom is running this site fine and everyone should quit jockin his scrotum for little things. Sure things can be tweeked, but that just means more strain on Tom. After all, small adjustments here and there would mean that Pico 2 would be further postponed, and I don't know of a single sould who'd want that!
