That girl cracked me up. She called herself a Goth, yet she wore all dark clothing. It sickens me to think that people label themselves with these stereotypes that are really misconceptions. If a person wears that all black stuff, they'd more truthfully be labeled Romanesque than Gothic. The Gothic period was characterized by an increase of light and color in churches. Current day "Goths" aren't colorful or light, yet they still label themselves so. Do they even realize the implications of the word Gothic?
