Big J! Thanks dude, it's just Safari. I tried uploading on Firefox and it works fine. Inconvenient, but at least I'm still in the portal! Thanks dude!

Hrmm, that's strange.
Could be a bug with your browser?

Nobody's been having this problem? I'm using safari (i know, stop it. i'm at work) and it's never been an issue.

oldGanon: Thanks man! I'll try to keep producing it and putting it out there for people like you : )

BigJ: The problem with velcro is that it deteriorates over time. I might try using magnets. Or I dunno, I need to find something sustainable because I want it to last a long time.

Haha, if I had to represent all the religions of the world, this crowd scene would be unbearable.

Anyway, here's a WIP background of a rug. Still gotta finish it. Sorry I haven't been around, I've been suuuper busy. Wish I had more time to comment and do drawings for more threads

BigJ: I gotta take a weekend sometime and figure out how I can make Quicktimes into .SWF's. I have all my movies as HQ quicktimes cuz I do my compositing in After Effects. I can't wait to submit some stuff to the portal again, it's literally been since like 2000 that I put something up.

Anyhoo, another painting without the other panels. Haha, just weird out of context but I don't wanna spoil it.

BigJ: Haha, reminds me of Mel Brooks' classic joke. "I PRESENT TO YOU THESE 15... *crash* 10 COMMANDMENTS!"

Got away from the films and computer for a minute to push some paint around on some illustration board. I took out the punchline to this comic cuz I havne't released it yet.

SoConfused: Thanks I tried exporting out of Flash and the quality always suffers.

BigJ: Yeah, I think I'm goign to do this method. It's 36 frames, but that isn't too bad. PS here I come!

Havegum: I tried everything in Flash, and there's always weird artifacts and stuff. Thanks tho! Hopefully this photoshop trick will work.

Rohkeu: Check out our site and lemme know what you think! haha

Here's a BG I just painted.

i have a .swf and i want to turn it into a nice .gif. anybody have a pipeline for me to come up with a clean one? .gif exports straight outta flash look like poop.

Response to: Unusual Opinions. Posted March 4th, 2011 in Art

I like the ones that are more vague (the initial pieces). THe looseness works with how vague the compositions are. Really well done!

your drawings look GREAT, undeadp! i just got some basic tips to help your drawings.

think about building your drawing like a house. first, put down your foundation. draw your drawing using SIMPLE, three dimensional shapes. use cylinders, cubes, and spheres to give a basic framework for your drawing. then use that foundation to pull out your final drawing from, using overlaps to show how those forms are fitting into space.

you got a great start, but these tips might help your drawings feel mroe real! hope it helps, dude
