I could expect that the point I am trying to make would be misinterpreted. I am not talking about global warming itself, the issue if global warming caused by us is true or not is not really relevant, because the american goverment recognizes the problem and agrees with the commen consensus. So its irrelevant because the problem is recognized by all parties.

The case I am trying to point out is the irresponsible attitude the US is having concerning the problem. Its true about china, but I do not take china as serious as the US something you could probably relate to. And I personally dont think its strange to force more developed countries to take more drastical measures then underdevelopped countries. In time they to should comply to more strict measures, but for now it is important western developed countries make an example. In the link you gave you clearly see that the US has been the overall largest contributer to greenhouse gasses, so to me it seems logical the us should also be the first to reduce it. ( and china has a somewhat higher population then the US)

If you think the whole global warming hype isnt real that fine with me, I dont want this to be such a topic. I think its real, if that automatically means to you that I am brainwashed then there cant be a real debate anyway.

btw its true I let my opinion be influenced by the media, its hard not to when I get my information out of it. I dont know how I would be able to form any opinion without media. Articles on the internet I also count as media. So I was wondering how you form your opinion. Because if the commen consensus about global warming in the scientific world is that it is caused by us, why would I not believe them? obviously its possible that they lie, for many reasons, but I just think and hope they dont. If 99% of the experts tell me its true, well then yes I believe them, because I cant research it myself.

Well after a long debate and the kneefall of america due to heavy international pressure and criticism, the UN climate top has finally reached some form of agreement.
Although america, who would have figured, has already cast the first roadblock; by wanting to equilize restrictions to lesser developed countries compared to themselves.

What I dont understand is why it is so neccesary for a rich western state to act like a spoiled child. You are I think the only country who actually can dismiss any UN regulations without really having to suffer sanctions, but that doesnt mean you should use this 'power'.
The hole world is trying to cooperate (in a world related matter) and the strongest link is being an ass. Dont you feel somekind of shame for the way you goverment acts?
Now dont get me wrong I am not a lefty anti-globelization anti evertything pussy, I personally dont have any patriotical(?) feelings towards my own nation, but I know many of you americans do. It would seem likely then, that when you feel such a strong connection with your country, you would also care alot about its policies, especially foreign.

Anyway I am glad the US has agreed with some proposals, seems like theyre not completly reluctant to care about anything else then their own.

Some issues are just black and white. You either think the fetus should be considered like any other person or you think the women should be able to have a choice to remove it. There is maybe some grey area around each choice, but in general its pretty A or B

Thats quite a bit lower than what I have heard, or at least what I remember hearing.

25% is way to much, but the percentages are higher then the earlier link when you look at a cities. About 13% in the large cities in the Netherlands.
My expectations are that, since muslim women on average have 3.5 kids, in the future this percentage will rise. They do not spread around the countries, they tend to stay in the cities for several reasons.
While the average west-european women only gets an average of 1.5 children this difference will surely be noticed in the near future. Especially when you consider that the average childbirth rate of western european women in the rural areas are way higher, meaning that in large cities the muslim percentage will rise fast. I think by 2020 in Amsterdam (now 13% muslim) the muslim population will be around 40-50% and the non-western population will be even higher.
such a rise in ethnic groups will probably also cause the migration of western-europeans out of the cities causing a snowball effect.

I wonder how many white americans live in atlanta for example, because when I was there for an afternoon this summer I didnt see a single one in the centre of the city.
I could imagine the great percentage of black people causes the white people to move out of the city.

Ok so here a thought.

Newgrounds has around 500.000 unique visitors daily, now I am not sure how many of them check the bbs, but probably still alot (can anyone make a intellegent guess?).

most of you probably know metacafe.com, where you can pretty easily make some money. The big problem as always is that you need views to be paid and those views you only get when youre movie has a very high rating placing the movie-clip on the frontpage. But most of the times clips fade away in the endless mass of uploaded material.

now my proposal, why not help eachother out? some-one uploads something on metacafe and places the link on the NG bbs (in a 'special' topic). everyone clicks the link watches it (or not that doesnt matter) rates it high and done.

My guess is that a few hunderd high ratings make the movie clip enter the (metacafe) frontpage, and then views will count up pretty easily.

anyway its just an idea. It could work, but obvioulsy it could also backfire if people will rate it low.

I am making some short movie clips which I want to submit, only I need some easy ambient background music to go along with it. The problem is, I cannot use any licensed music and this is well checked. So I either need to make my own music or use very old classical music.

But I thought that maybe some of you guys could give me permission of using your music. is it free? if not what prices do you ask? I am not really to fond on paying, but hopefully (not likely) I will make some money of the video clips I could give people a percentage.

So I was sitting in the college-banks, and I was following a course, international public health. Pretty big class with almost only women (only me and 2 other guys). So we had a guest course of some cunt. It was the most pathetic talk I've ever heard, she completely ignored the material she had to teach, she had no references. and she only talked about how the male species has brought this world down etc etc. I was flabbergasted, Just astonished.
