I dont know the other programs, so maybe I am oblivious, but I dont see how you cant make sharp lines with photoshop. you can pretty much make any type of line you want with it.
that would fix the problem of buying a new program, otherwise TBP will probly help you out

not bad at all but there are some things that are distracting i think.
his nose is really big and anatomically incorrect. the lines and shades make it look like the top of the nose is sticking out
related to the nose issue is the spread of his eyes, they seem to far apart.
his underlip is very light and doesnt have a clear border. it looks swollen
this is clearly a boy, but the top part of his face looks very feminine, maybe that is your intention. If not maybe roughen the eyebrows a bit
and even though you already adressed it, why wouldnt you add a bit of depth to the hat? you can keep the color dark, but make it a bit more 'forming'. your choice of course

Ive heard of commission, but I never saw a topic like this where someone just posts a pic in order to try to sell it.

the upper body is in comparison to large (way to large) for the legs. (less lenghtwise then width)
his breast muscles are to large
his neck muscles are insane, but thats probably intentional
also it looks like he has to take a poop

If You want more than a Single Digital character, just private message me and we can work out a FAIR price.
Thank you for supporting my art.
oke I am new to this. This is some kind of a sales topic? you are selling your design? in the art forum? Never seen it, but not here that long. Can hardly believe this will work but curious on how it does.

if possible, could you post a pic of the sigarette box, from a distance? I really cant see it.

thanks a bunch, srry for belated response, but didnt have time to implement your advice, today I did have time.
I did what you said, I made circular shapes. after that I didnt really know what to do with it so I just drew the individual body parts seperately using your pic as reference and my own circular shapes.
After I had my body and hind legs I tried not to look at your pic anymore, but i also didnt really make use of my 'circular shapes cat'.
For the face I heavily relied on your pic. NOt so much for the outer shape (in the sense that I didnt look at your pic the whole time). for his facial features I just couldnt resist.
I know 'her' forehead is a tad large, but I kinda like it that way.
not done yet will work on the feet, shading and background. Hope you can comment at that as well once its done.

I'd like some detailed answers, like all the styles that appeal to you and all that good stuff
without trying to sound douchy, I think the question is a bit general and vague for a detailed/ specific answer. Also why do you want a detailed answer?
Personally I dont have any preferences. I like what I like, it can be ALL of the above options. I dont like all the manga stuff. It can be good but most of the time I think its boring and everyone seems to wanna draw it.
Personally I cant image people being able to single out one art type as there favorite, but maybe I am wrong. To me its like asking what kind of movie genre you like. I DONT like some genres (western, romcom), but my favorite movies top 10 are dispersed in many genres (fantasy, scifi, noir, novelizations etc etc).
so its a usable item, its non electric, plastic, can be placed on a computer desk, this one is empty, it looks scratched, there is an 's' on the thingy....
I have no idea, maybe a pencil holder or pencil sharpener...??

ughh, I am trying to look at references and real life pictures but I cant figure this out. can someone plz tell me how I should draw those GD backlegs??
obviously pic isnt finished at all, I just need some feedback on the hind legs. I tried more versions then these, but they were worse
