Reason doesn't record anything though, and has no support for external overkill instruments that some asshole will tell you that you need in order to make Aphex-esque or Autechre-esque music, don't listen - that's bullshit.

I'm doing this 3D-ish (top-down) game engine, and it will have a lot of spawned stuff running and jumping around. Runners, jumpers, bushes and rocks are all together on one layer in one MC and everything must have its depth altered real time.

So, the MCs' depths need to correspond somehow to their _y position without messing each other up if the _y position is the same.

You get it, I want distance-depth... thing. Sounds basic enough. Anything, when spawned anywere on the screen, should automaticly find its correct place in the depth order.
