quick question.

I'm thinkign of getting into photography, but i am one camera and a couple of hundred dollars short.

I found a Nikon bridge camera in a local shop for roughly 200 euro, from what i gather these kind of cameras are like digital cameras with a smaller sensor than DSLRs, but have some of their advantages and functions, like adjustable shutter speed, aperture and ISO settings...

apparently you can't change the lenses, unlike bad ass digital SLR's but still you can add enhancements for macro and stuff...

my point being : would it be a good idea to buy one of these bridge cameras for getting into photography? i would like to go for a DSLR but unfortunately, I dont have the cash, and point and shoot cameras seem to take away the fun of it.

nice job on the skeletons zac, i hope you dont mind though i wanted to give you a small pointer on your anatomy sketches.

dont take it as an offence if i scribbled on your sketch, it's just easyer that way...

i think the pectorals are a little too "square" and big, and i thought i'd help you out with some lower-neck/upper-thorax anatomy, since it seems it was what you were mostly focusing on.

hope to see moar arts soon.

also, the tree is cool.

i know it looks weird, i plan on blending the picture once i've finished the cape, that way it wont look like he's just pasted there...

plus i gotta work on the background, overall lighting, chains, and lots and lots of random stuff

I understand where LaserKarl is coming from, and I understand the problem with "clogging" the forum up, but i just wanted to shout out that the only reason i did this was to get more critiscism and observation off of it, since anything i post in my art thread get's pretty much ignored anyway.

Believe me it's not because I think it's "special", or in anyway different from any other piece posted on the forum, as i said it's just something i'm hoping to improve as i finish.

regardless, if it's this annoying to users i'll just leave it be

i know this is nowhere near to be finished, there wont be any black part like that, plus blending and other crap is in order, otherwise it'll look like some copy/paste shit.
