Response to: Health Care Bill Passes Posted November 8th, 2009 in Politics

We need reform, and this is a step forward, although it's not as good as I would have hoped.

I agree with many of the aspects of the reform, such as universal healthcare, although I don't see how this will bring our economy up. Sure, this can fix a lot of things, but it will put us in a large amount of debt. Although I'm not saying I could have thought of something better, I am saying that there are holes in the health care bill.

I'm worried about aspect such as the improved quality of the healthcare as well. I know America REALLY NEEDS the quality, as it is at a shit level right now, but I'm unsure on how it would impact us in the long run. It could go either way; we're going to have to let time decide on this one.

I'm not sure either, but I think that it clears things such as temporary page memory?
Like if you would click 'go offline' and then cleared your cache, I think it would not show any pages. I clear my cache every time I close firefox, so it's not harmful at all.

No it won't deleted any received medals. I believe those are saved on an NG server anyway so there is not even a possible way to delete them yourself. It won't delete save games either.

Yea, they're stored on the NG server. It won't do anything. Saved games, medals, checkpoints, etc. will not be lost.

Ctrl + F5

This is what I was thinking.

Well the portal being spammed by a user called BradGarrett... Don't know why someone would try to steal a Armor game I check out that profile of that thief gamerboy500.

His newness, his level, as well as his profile is leading me to believe that he is one of the DD, I could be wrong though. I'm pretty sure either he just got recruited into a spam group, or he was in one all along. Again, I could be wrong.

Heh, speaking of ridiculous, I remember someone trying to steal Toss the Turtle. It got flagged before the flash obtained 50 views.

This is stolen from armorgames. It's a pretty large game.

I always take showers. Hot water + face = feel good.
Water in your nose only gets there if you try to breathe in when you're directly under the spray, and soap only gets in my eyes if I DON'T CLOSE THEM WHEN WASHING MY HAIR. Just close your eyes, and everything will be fine.

Really, shower's aren't that bad. Try it at least ONCE with your shirt off and your underwear not on you. It will feel nice, I pwomise.

I got a quad phenom core 3.0 Ghz with 8 gigs of ram + a 1 gig ATI graphics card that integrates really smoothly. I maxed out Crysis with this baby!

Suspicious. The e-mail does not match up to the site which the game is from, so I'd watch this for a possible file-swap. Not much more info from the original site that it is from, but this game also looks a little old. It seems odd that the author would wait this long to submit it onto newgrounds.

On the other hand, the account was made a month ago. Usually spammers make the account the same day that the submission is to be entered. I don't know what to think here.

Never played cricket before, but baseball looks more fun to play. Cricket, although, sounds more fun to watch. I would rather stare at a white wall all day than watch a baseball match- It's boring as hell if you're not viewing it live.

We don't seem to have many of these anymore. If you want to continue, there is a baseball club in the clubs and crews section of this site. You can go there to argue about the Yankees.

Not much of a baseball fan myself.

You still don't get it. There was even another club similar to the EGB, called the NGPD (see my sig).
We're waiting to be unlocked right now, and if this club stays up, it will be the 3rd "protection" club for NG.

Anyway, the requirements for this club are so low that any spam group could come right in. Lurk on the BBS for a year or so. Learn the rules. Become a regular.

You would have to get a new hard drive, so no. That's like trying to downgrade your screen without opening it.

ALSO ALSO, it turns out I actually have 2.5 ghz. Any other suggestions?

It should work fine. As said above, power-cycle the router.

That's a pretty bold statement. I'm going to look into that.

Sure, "you can do alot more advanced stuff on PCs" but in the end, I want to do lotsa "advanced stuff" easily, quickly and painlessly.

Not really. If let's say your internet screws up, and the airport can detect it but it is going really slowly. Your only option is to reset your airport. From experience, anyway. If there is another way, please enlighten me.
On PC's, you can look into the problem and fix it directly.

It's easier to relax when errors don't pop up every tenth second -.-

Who the fuck told you this? Errors only come around when YOU fucked something up, such as downloading too much porn and getting a virus. It's all YOUR fault. -.-

true, but i prefer mac :)

And I prefer PC. ;)

At 10/25/09 04:17 PM, armorwarrior wrote: Also people say that Macs can't do much because they're made to be easy to all users. Well they can do pretty much anything a PC can, just, like they say, easily.

PC's can do a little more than macs.

And isn't Windows 7 supposed to be the easiest to use Windows ever? It's all about marketing, people like things to be simple.

Windows 7 is not about the simplicity. Win 7 is about the fixes in crashes/bugs, meaning a major disadvantages in Vista are gone.

Why people argue about computers we'll never know, because they both have their goods and their bads.

THIS. PEOPLE, READ THIS LAST SENTENCE.
Windows are home-based. They are made to run recreational programs such as games, movies, etc.
They have capability to be upgraded if you need more of something, and are generally for a person who wants to relax.
Macs are office-based. They are great for working on, as they have a lot less programs to distract you with, such as the game deficiency. But Macs do have great movie generating software, graphic designing capabilities, etc. (NOTE: NOT GAMES)
PC'S and Macs both have their ups and downs.
