Not sure what to think of this. When one does a first flash, it is terrible, and usually a movie. This author has submitted his "first flash", and it seems to be really good, but also on kongregate:

http://www.kongregate.com/games/dwild/su per-rebounce
Not sure what to think of this, as this is still under judgment at kongregate, although there are oddities:
If this is this man's first flash, why not say that under the comments at kongregate?
The usernames do not match up.
This account was made 5 days ago, not sure if to trust or not.

What's your take, guys? I didn't flag, but I'm going to keep my eyes peeled.

Anyway, has anyone heard of someone making a platformer tutorial without making platformers? :/

Strange or normal? I'm really confused.

I didn't mean whistle it! I meant to keep on it a bit after it has passed into the portal, if it will anyway. And yea, you're right. It's pretty bad. XD

Oh well, as it seems, my argument is invalid. Spammers would not ask for any help on NG whatsoever; that would be building the community they are bent on destroying. Seems like a legit attempt.

Still bad though :P

Tails, if you level up, we'll just be on your back for the next level.

But you do have a point on the activity. Talking about that:

I'd keep my eye on this flash. It's this guy's first flash, and seeing as he has not leveled up yet, it really seems too good to be true that one man would devote himself to NG like this. It really doesn't seem too trustworthy to me. I'm not holding anything against the guy: I'm just a little suspicious.

I'm low on a budget, but I need a laptop that has relatively good specs. I searched all over hp.com, newegg, tigerdirect, dell, and bestbuy, and all I could find that match my needs were:

this lappy
and this one

I need at least:
a dual core with 2.0 gighz
an alright graphics card
over 2 gigs of DDR2 ram
667mhz of BUS
something small
long battery life
at least 1 mb of L2 cache
150 gigs of hard drive space with 4200 RPM

NOTE: These are all minimum specs I need.

My budget is $500 and I would like it as cheap as possible. No netbooks satisfy my needs, as they are all single core and below 1.8 gighz. The screen resolution should be over 1280 by 800, no less. If one is more AND less (like 1366 by 789) that's fine, as long as one is more and less; cannot be both under. Thanks if anyone can help.

You guys are too conservative. C'mon, pleasure me!

I use 6 pieces of myself, fold, and wipe. Repeat.

Reccomend me a laptop! Posted November 11th, 2009 in General

I need something cheap, but with at least a dual core 2.0 and up gghz, 800 mhz of BUS, 160 gigs of hard drive space, and all under $500 dollars.

I've been looking and all I can find that is close to my needs is a Gateway laptop with an AMD Athlon%u2122 X2 Dual-Core Processor... I'm looking for something similar to a netbook, but I hate netbooks; you get better parts for a better price in laptops. Any help NG?

It's so sad that you can't build laptops by yourself. :'c

Judging from the comments, author's lack of flashes, the E-MAIL ESPECIALLY, as well as the fact that the author signed up today, this is a definate file-swap, but I have zero proof of it being stolen.

It might be an original flash itself, but it WILL get swapped.

But about my garbage whistle...recently i haven't been able to really get any whistle points due to the thread i used to get the points from was locked so im kinda stuck here....but i will try to find some :)

Oh, you mean Rage's thread? XD

Anyway, audio doesn't count for the "stolen" category, right?

Just a precaution.

It seems that the portal has really gone quiet. Checkups for stolen flashes have revealed no progress. I think they are preparing for the 13th thing.

I log on at least once a day and constantly vote flashes in judgement, and I regulary visit the BBS.

Thank you for having an interest in the NGPD.
You as well, sir, If you may be as so kind as to let me judge you:

Although you pass the post and badge requirements, this is not a b/p club. Voting fairly IS part of this club, but reporting abusive flashes is an even bigger part. If I'm not taking this incorrectly, have you ever reported a flash? It's done by clicking one of the three buttons below a flash if you think it is malicious, stolen, or otherwise inappropriate. You must supply proof of this, or it will be ignored. Again, I'm sorry if you already know of this, and I assumed incorrectly.

Your posts consist of one-liners. This really needs to be improved, and you need to put a little more effort into what you put around on the BBS. Please, don't take this the wrong way; many people see the BBS as a place for fun and games, and by all means, IT IS! :) But for this club, we focus on helping others as well as protecting the portal. To ensure we have the best recruits, we take in their post lengths. Yours needs a little improvement.

I'm sure you would be a legit candidate if you improved your posts a little. :) But sir, by no means is this a final evaluation. I am just giving you my take on your status; Tails makes all the calls and cuts. Again, we will just have to wait for his decision.

I vote daily, on the bbs atleast 4 days a week and log in pretty much every day.

Sir, if I may so, I would like to inspect you.

Hmm, let's see...

You pass the badge as well as the post-count minimum, but I'm a little worried about the garbage whistle. Knowing events although, it's not too hard to get your whistle status demoted, so we'll be looking to get you to a higher level on that.

Your more recent posts look good, although the later posts seem a little "spamish" to me, but nothing that you can't improve with a little more effort. ;) (as a tip, stay away from the bandwagon threads or the threads with stories like "guys, I'm building a base. MAN THE GUNS!" "OK, I GOT TANKS!"

Not for me to judge, but by my count, I think you are a legit candidate. This is not my place at all to say, although, and until Tails gets here, just sit tight. :)

Never mind guys; I just restarted my router/main computer and everything works fine. Apparently, the main computer was connected to a "Network 4" instead of the main one. I tried to connect to my home network, but it wouldn't.

Ah, well. Lesson learned: Pulling the plug + router = good.

True. I've always wondered, if the flash gets blammed, does that mean negative whistle points? Or does it not count?

Next week will be one to remember.

Response to: Will I be able to run TF2 smoothly? Posted November 8th, 2009 in Video Games

Just like what others said: the graphics card is pretty bad, and you should replace it. The ram is more than enough, but I'm not sure about the triple core. I have QUAD Phenom cores with a great ATI card, and it integrates smoothly, but I heard some pretty bad stuff about triple cores, such as they are unbalanced and you're better off with dual cores than with triple. It should run TF2 though.

I'd change your graphics card before you attempted to run TF2, but otherwise, I think you would be fine.

Response to: When swine flu Posted November 8th, 2009 in Politics

The swine flu is a hoax. It was boosted by the media in order to get the economy running; now that everyone is getting vaccinated, people have to PAY for the vaccination. Therefore, money is circulating, and the economy is improving.

Although I'm pissed that the media is constantly pumping up the threat, it's a good idea. Heh, the media are doing the reform that Obama never could.
