Well, gripe all you want, but I find that Metalcore falls under the blanket term of metal, because there's so many different subgenres that metal really could describe a whole host of acts.

And, yes, labelling a band based on it's content, as I'm starting to realize, is somewhat unnecessary.

The ones who say it is not metal are death/black metal fans who refuse to accept
