The NBA only cares about those teams is because only a few teams have won the title in 30 years. The league is too top heavy and if a team like San Antonio wins a championship again the league will just ignore them.

Trust me being a fan of the Bucks is frustrating. The only teams that get attention are the ones in more populated areas even if they haven't won a championship in 40 years, looking at you Knicks. The league does not care about the teams who are in small markets for the most part.
