I spoke with the guy, and from what I currently know I don't know what to say. All I can say is that there needs to be some sort of organizing with the project before handing out separate jobs to other people. Something I do hope though is that nobody does more work then the original creator, otherwise it going to look really bad within the carrier field.

I never said anything about a job, but work. He has a job and goes to school, but voice acting is something that he spends his free time on. He want's to become a voice actor, but even he knows they cant pay the bills. I'm am just looking for someone who has experience to go one on one with him. Now the reason why I am asking is because he as a problem with self esteem. He has motivation, but like most people you have to give them a helping hand. I was the same, but I grew to understand people problems and work with them.

What you did was not bad. You were being honest as you said, and true with your facts. The mistake you did make was assuming too much. I knew I had to put more detail into the main post, but I did not know what kind of response I was going to get.

I have a voice acting buddy who has been trying real hard to get better at voice acting. The problem he is having at the moment is that he has not been able to get any experience or work to do. It's one thing to learn and practice, but without the some type of work training it's hard to know where to improve on. I tried my best to encourage him and give him as much advice I could, but i'm not a voice actor. The only experience I have is acting. What i'm looking for a voice actor/actress to do a one on one talk with him about voice acting. He has the motivation and sprite to become a voice actor, and also has a unique voice. He still needs to work on his voice and how to express, but that's were experience is needed. He spent a whole year training himself and trying for auditions, but now he has no idea where to go since he see no progress.

Quick update. My worst has come. I have not done much the past three weeks do to my time being taken by others. I will be working on audition by sometime this week. If your posted on this topic please wait a little longer.

A little bad news. I did not think that the time I was going to take to make the rough draft was going to be a busy time. I been stuck doing school work and family affairs. I plan on working as much as I can this week, but I would not expect that much at the end of the week. What I'm going to work on this week is the final designs of the characters in the first work, and there profiles. This will allow those who want to addition an idea of what I'm looking for. Music composer I will have to talk to you directly. The idea of music I'm looking for is oriental, and orchestra. I know allot of you work with digital tools, but I'm not looking for any kind of techno, or dub-step; however later maybe acceptable.

I really like your voice acting skills with your range of voice's. I would love to have you part of my upcoming project, because after hearing your demo's I saw your voice fitting allot of my female characters. I'm currently starting my rough draft, but as soon as I get the females roles finished I will start additions, and I will alert you when this happens.

So far I can give a description of three of the female characters I would like you to play as. Two sisters, around the age of 10 or 12. One is mostly excited about anything, and so she has a cheerful voice. When she's not in a cheerful exciting mood, she will go into a curious and calm tone voice usually wondering about how things work. Her sister is more quite, but gets strait to the point. Her voice is much more calmer then her happy curious sister, but she does like results and thinking about them.

The last female character is part of guards in training. She is assigned in a group of three, and in this group she disagrees with the leader of the group. She has more leadership in the group, but she thinks more in concerns of her comrades then leading them. Her reasoning of joining the guards was to learn from the best so that she could protect others without fail. Apart from her being a guard she mainly goes about her day quietly. With her friends she like to be stubborn, and opposes stupidity when she see's it. Her voice is more mature high-mid tone. She will talk rapidly when she is in a bind or stressed, but enforcing when calm.

Now I can't describe what these characters look like, because they are not human. I would rather have the design to show so that it's much more easier for the voice actors to picture.

I will have to see. The theme of the story is a mid-evil, steam-Industrial, and other different cultures. Orchestra would probably what I am looking for; however, because the story has so much going on in it, it really can't be braised around one kind of music. Now for the pilot I will go with a mid-evil theme since it starts in a town.

Starting next week, 9/8/2013, I will begin working on a rough draft of a series I have planned. I had this idea for almost a year, and now I want to make it a reality by using the skill and knowledge I have gain through this year. After I am done with the rough draft hopefully after 9/29/2013, giving me three weeks to work with, I will start to expand my work with others. This is why I am making this post now for a future collaboration.

Now I have made a post about this series a while back, but I was told it would be better to have something work with so that those who I plan on working with will have something to work with. That’s why I am giving myself the three weeks to work on the rough draft; however, I also want to have people to work with as soon as I’m done. At the moment all I can say is what I will be working on, and what my collaborators can look forward to.

The series has quite a few characters in it, and the development of the characters, there involvement of the story, and the story itself is huge. The pilot will be small though. I myself will be the animator, so I need to get used to the job first so that I can perform with a good pace. What I am looking for the collaboration is Voice Actors, Music Composer, and maybe other animators.

Now before anyone makes a reply, please know that I will not be able to pay anyone. I do not have a great amount of income to be paying others, without me suffering the cost, but this does not mean I won’t accept help unrewarded. I keep my eyes and ears open all the time, and when I see something that someone I had work with in the past fit the job I alert them. Also if this series has a kick off, this won’t happen anytime soon, and starts to make a good amount of income from it, I be willing to share a great amount and even amount with those who were involved. I myself do not care about money,as long as the series does well I am fine that.

Ok so here is what I am looking for as of now for VA and MC. For Voice Actors I need those who can break their voices enough to have at least two different voices. I will not give any description of what I am looking for, because there will be time I will have to work with what I got. So with that said, give me a link to a voice demo, and I will most likely figure out what character you can pull off. Music Composers do not have to do much, but give samples of what they have done. I do not want to request any new scores but rather see what I can work with such as Voice Actors. Once I do get the rough draft finish I may compose my own original scores but I still lack allot of knowledge of music.

That's not entirely true!
I started out working with people and collaborating on multiple project before I became as okay as I am now, and I learned SO MUCH. It's probably what you need, so you can pick up tricks and stuff.

@OP, I soooooo wanna collab with you. Your Soundtrack demos are top notch, and that's saying a lot coming from an audiophile. xD

I been part of other collaboration as well, and I do learn allot from them, but one thing that always happens is that they fall apart. I want to start my own collaboration with other people, and make sure that it does not fall apart. That is why I am setting my own stuff so that the collaboration will be sooth and easy. I hate to start something, and have nothing to work with.

I like the tracks you composed. In the future I may comeback to contact you. At the moment I busy setting up my own stuff so starting something now with a composer would not be a good idea for me.

I wont say much for now, but I am very interested. I'll keep you on my favorites so I don't forget.

I made this post last week and i'm still working on the series but at the moment I have been very busy trying to get as much stuff out of the way so that I can work full all out on this project. Hello I am making this thread because I want to start collaboration who would volunteer with helping me create a series. Now I wont go into details about the series but what I can say is that I have an almost complete story, and most of the characters are finished. The reason why its not fully completed is because I want to leave it open for different possibilities. This way I can work around any problems I run into. The series duration will be about 12 episodes a season and with at least 10 minutes worth for each episode.

What I will be doing for the series is the writing and animation. Im not that great at writing and its my worst skill ever. I do want to take on the task of writer because I have a huge imagination and to improve on writing. For animation though, I love to draw and Im taking school to become an animator. The only problem I have with animating is that I never made anything that I can show but I have been spending allot of time practicing can learning. One of the goals for me making this series is to give me a great experience working on it.

What I am looking for in making collaboration of people that are talented in skills that I dont have. The first thing that I am looking for is voice actors. Im looking for quite a lot of people or few that can do many voices .The reason for this is that I have at least 25 characters in the first 4 episodes. There is almost an even amount of males and females characters so it would be great to have that as well for voice actors/actress. The Last thing I need is music. Im not looking for someone to compose music but rather have their permission to use there already composed music. Why I rather have someone offer me a song for me to use is so that I can promote them rather than getting a song from free samples. However I wont accept if I dont see it fitting in the series.

Now I know Im asking for way too much for not giving much but I will assure that I will credit everyone that helps me with every episode. I also came to a conclusion that I may be doing this whole thing myself if no one want to be involved.

Me and a few other are making a fan made video of MLP. The video wont be about the main story but another story still in the MLP universe. So far we got the voice actor's, composers, and artist to help make the video however we don't have an animator. I took it upon my self to animate the video but I am not that good at animating yet. If there's anyone who would be kind enough to help with the animation prose's I would really appreciate it.If you want to become the lead animator you can, but you will have to show that your knowledge and skill in animation is greater then mine. If you do become lead animator I will assist you with the animation prose's in anyway I can.

So far for my project I gotten A good I idea of what I am going for but still developing the story and characters and plots. I have not done any animation yet because I have not fully design what the characters are going to look like as far as you can tell the different from one another but I have come up with idea's and found a why to change the body and face by a little alteration but can still tell the different.

I know this may not sound that good but I don't want to give up and I find that I can find some help from this site.

are you good at voice acting? I could not find a demo on your page so I would like to know if you could compare your self with another character from a show or story.

Hello i am a knew animator well still learning the basics but I have been working on a project for two weeks and thought that I could use some advice with one to one with someone. I'm looking for someone who is can work with me and they don't have to be animators they can also be voice voice actors, script writers, artist, story tellers, and or anyone that find this stuff interesting. As for being my partner it mostly will depend on what you do because I can not expect everyone to do the same thing or have the same amount of skills.

To help convince somebody to want to be partners with me I will post weekly updates of what i'm doing with my animation projects to show that i'm devoted to working hard. If your somebody who is also wants somebody to work with then go ahead and ask me what you would like to do because I'm not looking to be the big cheese in any of this I just want somebody I can relate to when I'm working.

I do now know what you have to do to be partners with just say what you do and what you have been doing.

That is all and if someone find this a bit noobish of a thread of collaboration then I do not mind because This is my first thread I believe.
