What, American rugby on the account of you lot having to wear a lot of armour?
How about you play American football without padding, see how long you last? If we didn't have protection, do you know many more people would have injuries? Someone just got a second concussion, and that was with a helmet. How much sooner would it have been without a helmet?

The problem is that they already do play "football" without pads, which just makes Brits think their better than Americans, which is really annoying.

Nobody really asked for an opinion on what you thought was "football".

I'll do the picks right now. That way, I won't forget.

Week 12 Schedule:
Green Bay at Detroit - Green Bay is due for a weird loss, however, I'll go with the better odds and give them a win. Packers

Oakland at Dallas - Bruce Gradkowski? What? I don't understand. You mean, if the Raiders had a QB who didn't give away the game, then they actually have a chance at winning? I'm not quite sure I understand. Oh well. This game is tough to pick, due to Dallas' horrible offensive output. It doesn't get any better with Nmadi coming to Big D. However, I'll have to make another odds call. Cowboys.

NY Giants at Denver - I guess McDaniels was quoted as saying "We own you!" to certain Chargers players. Way to go, Josh. The Broncos have run into a pole, and they can't quite get over the shock. Giants.

Tampa Bay at Atlanta - Atlanta is being highly uncharacteristic lately. They lost a game they should have won against the Giants, but then again, NY was due for a win. Josh Freeman isn't disappointing, however, he needs to take better care of the football until he can become a good quarterback. Falcons.

Miami at Buffalo - Miami has a new dimension when coming to Buffalo this Sunday: it might actually be nice outside. That's not good for a Bills team that usually owns Miami in the cold at Buffalo. The Bills will get another chance to torch a shoddy secondary with Fitzpatrick taking the snaps, throwing to his quick receivers Lee Evans and Terrell Owens. This may be my inner Bills fan talking here, but the only way the Bills can be beat in this one is through the run game, and although Ronnie Brown is out, Ricky Williams played exceptionally well against the Panthers. Bills.

Cleveland at Cincinnati - Cincinatti came up with a fluke loss this past Sunday to Oakland, but they'll be alright. If they're lucky, Brady Quinn will make some mistakes, as usual. Even better, they could get Derek Anderson to flat out gift wrap the game for the Bengals. Bengals.

Carolina at NY Jets - Another tough match. The problem is that Delhomme is going to be pressured more than ever this weekend, and we all know how that one ends. Look for Jake the Mistake's interception total to be on the rise, and for Rex Ryan to stop crying and just win a football game. Jets.

Washington at Philadelphia - The same thing that happened the first time will happen again. Donovan can get right by this one by allowing DeSean Jackson to get behind the Redskin secondary by teleportation, just another alternate method from what he usually does: running. Eagles.

Indianapolis at Houston - In a rematch, I'm going to give my first upset of the week. There will be only one undefeated team after this game, as Houston should be pretty emotional in this one, and this time they're at home. Texans.

Seattle at St. Louis - I can confidently go with Seattle for this one, and that's tough confidence. However, Mark Bulger is out with a fractured tibia, giving Kyle Boller the nod for starting job. Sucks for the Rams. Seahawks.

Kansas City at San Diego - Now that Todd Haley isn't a retard and has realized that he has great talent in Jamaal Charles, Kansas City still doesn't stand a chance against a hot Chargers squad intent on stomping the Broncos in the AFC West like they usually do. Seriously, the Chargers should just go 0-8 next year to start, because no matter what, they'll eventually catch up to the Broncos. Chargers.

Jacksonville at San Francisco - Frank Gore vs. MJD. MJD had an off game against a shoddy Bills run defense. Frank Gore has been on and off since his return to the 49ers after his injury. So, with that, I think (and I can't believe I'm saying this) that Alex Smith is the better quarterback, and he has the ultimate safety valve in Vernon Davis. If not, just dump it off to your explosive WR Crabtree. 49ers.

Arizona at Tennessee - Tennessee is HOT. Vince young is keeping his mistakes at a minimum, and Chris Johnson is just a monster. However, after we realized that Kurt Warner was faking a concussion (just kidding), the Cardinals are dangerous as well. I think it'll be the Cards to slow down the Titans in this one. Cardinals.

Chicago at Minnesota - No explanation necesarry. Vikings.

Pittsburgh at Baltimore - Depending on who starts: if it's Roethlisberger, Steelers. If it's Dixon, Ravens. I'm going to guess it's Dixon, so I'll go Ravens.

New England at New Orleans - Wow. The Patriots are losing to top teams. Imagine that! New Orleans is a top team, and they finally have a defense to show for it. Saints.

Also, for next season, I was thinking we set up some sort of point spread, like the betting system. I think it would give us a little more of a competitive edge. Just a suggestion.

Just do the thing where you count the Thursday night game as a loss. I hate Thursday games and I only post here like once a week for this. Oh well.

Week 11 Schedule:
Miami at Carolina - I was going to pick Carolina anyways. Oh well.

Washington at Dallas - I feel like this is a trap game, but Washington won their game against Denver. I'll go Dallas simply because they are playing the crappy Skins.

Cleveland at Detroit - I don't even know how to pick for this crappy game. I'm gonna go with Detroit, since they somewhat have an offense.

San Francisco at Green Bay - San Fran has a great secondary, however their front four should have a little more to be desired. I'm gonna go Green Bay.

Pittsburgh at Kansas City - Hopefully Tomlin has his Steelers focused. Steelers.

Atlanta at NY Giants - This should be a good one. Coming off a tough loss to Carolina, and the Giants are in a hole. Hopefully they got that extra prep they needed during the bye. Giants.

New Orleans at Tampa Bay - This should go New Orleans way, but don't be surprised if this one's a shootout, unless New Orleans gets their secondary back, because then it'll be a blowout.

Buffalo at Jacksonville - Good riddance to Dick Jauron, and any hopes of winning any more games this season. Jacksonville.

Indianapolis at Baltimore - Baltimore has been less inspiring each week. Peyton Manning has been an inspiration to all young high school quarterbacks everywhere. Colts.

Seattle at Minnesota - Brett Favre is on a roll. I'd say he has a good 3-4 game cushion in the surprisingly crappy NFC North. However, I don't think Seattle has a chance in this one, unless they miraculously trade for Chris Johnson, but I'm pretty sure that can't happen anymore. Vikings.

Arizona at St. Louis - St. Louis was close last week, however, Arizona will be coming full throttle, and they finally have a run game, too. Cardinals.

NY Jets at New England - In Part II, the Belichek makes up for his fuck up, and Rex Ryan grabs the tissues as he can't reprise his victory. Patriots.

Cincinnati at Oakland - Cincinnati, obviously. The Raiders are sitting a fat piece of crap for a piece of crap. Cincinnati has Carson Palmer, indisputably the best USC quarterback coming from this decade's drafts. Bengals.

San Diego at Denver - Josh Mishandles has been exposed, and his girly armed quarterback can't help him. The Chargers might as well just not even try in September and pick things up in October instead. Lord knows that the Broncos can't keep a lead in the division. Chargers.

Philadelphia at Chicago - This is an easy matchup for Donovan. Eagles.

Tennessee at Houston - Another really tough one here. Chris Johnson promised us a 10-game winning streak. However, I can't see Matt Schaub passing up one of the worst pass defenses in the league. Texans.

Also, this.

Houston at Buffalo - I think the Texans overlook the Bills on this one. Bills

Cleveland at Chicago - Chicago. Easy bounce back.

Seattle at Dallas - Seattle gets a surprise one.

St. Louis at Detroit - Hopefully Detroit. Seriously.

Denver at Baltimore - Denver, because of better coaching.

San Francisco at Indianapolis - Indianapolis, because of better QB.

Miami at NY Jets - PLEASE PLEASE be the Dolphins.

NY Giants at Philadelphia - Philadelphia ftw.

Jacksonville at Tennessee - Jacksonville keeps Tennessee winless.

Oakland at San Diego - San Diego had it close next time, but they can string together two wins.

Carolina at Arizona - Arizona will get this.

Minnesota at Green Bay - Minnesota has the pass rush.

Atlanta at New Orleans - New Orleans until they lose.

Week 7 Schedule:
Green Bay at Cleveland

I made a huge mistake picking Detroit last week, but Green Bay played very sloppy. Still, I'm pretty sure the Pack can beat the Browns. Packers.

San Diego at Kansas City

San Diego needs this, and they won't lose to a team that barely beat the Redskins. Chargers.

Indianapolis at St. Louis

Colts. 'nuff said.

Minnesota at Pittsburgh

Possibly the toughest matchup this week, I'll go with the Steelers.

New England at Tampa Bay

If New England can put 59 up on the Titans, I wonder what they can do to the Bucs... Patriots.

San Francisco at Houston

I don't know how I pick the weeks Houston wins. They should be murdering people with the offensive stars they have. However, Crabtree makes his debut this week, and the 49ers Defense hopefully gets a redeemer against Houston. 49ers.

Buffalo at Carolina

Another tough matchup, but Buffalo's pass defense is actually really really good. However, I'm worried about the run. I'll say Buffalo anyways because Carolina will still be stupid enough to pass. Bills.

NY Jets at Oakland

Oakland had a statement game against the Eagles, and they're going to want to continue the trend, especially since the Jets just keep losing. Raiders.

Atlanta at Dallas

Matt Ryan is officially elite. Falcons.

Chicago at Cincinnati

This will be a tight one, but I don't think the Bengals will lose two in a row. Bengals.

New Orleans at Miami

New Orleans continues to dominate. Super Bowl? Saints

Arizona at NY Giants

NY Giants pick themselves up. Giants.

Philadelphia at Washington

Talk about a mismatch. Unless Jason Campbell lights up the Eagles D, it's hopeless. Eagles.

Bye: Denver, Detroit, Tennessee, Seattle, Jacksonville, Baltimore

Week 6 Schedule:
Houston at Cincinnati -

Tough one, but I'm going to have to go with Houston. The Cats can't always be Cardiac.

Detroit at Green Bay -

Detroit shows Green Bay the North is a lot more competitive than they thought.

Baltimore at Minnesota -

Brett and Adrian find a defense... a real defense. Ravens

NY Giants at New Orleans -

Toughest match. I'll have to go with Eli and Giants. Eli is just on fire lately and the Saints are coming off a bye.

Cleveland at Pittsburgh -

Cle... hahahaha Pittsburgh

Carolina at Tampa Bay -

Carolina gets two in a row against a team on my 0-16 list.

Kansas City at Washington -

Kansas City gets their first win against one of the two teams that keeps letting winless teams win.

St. Louis at Jacksonville -

Jacksonville can hopefully handle the Rams.

Arizona at Seattle -

Seattle can win if Hasselbeck is playing, so I'll go with him. Better yet, maybe the Hawks will wear that blinding green again. Seahawks

Philadelphia at Oakland -

Donovan McNabb shines a Jamarcus goes 3-3,000,000 for 300 yards. Eagles

Tennessee at New England -

New England hasn't lost two games in a row in a while, and they won't be doing that any time soon against Tennessee. Please, Tennessee, Kerry is dead. At least with Vince you'll have a scapegoat. Patriots

Buffalo at NY Jets -

If the Jets lose this I think I will be a very confused Bills fan. Jets

Chicago at Atlanta - Matt Ryan is now a legitimate monster. If Roddy White can torch the 49ers D, I'd hate to see what the two of them can do against Chicago's. Falcons
Denver at San Diego - If Denver wins this one, then Coach McD is legit. I'm gonna have to go with the real quarterback in this one, not Captain Checkdown, Sr. Chargers.

Bye: Dallas, Indianapolis, Miami, San Francisco

What the hell. Peyton's playing so well that he's still gonna throw for 300 yards this week, even if it's just his backyard.

Ugh, 10-6..... Shitty. Let's get better in week 4.
Detroit at Chicago:
The Bears are definitely who we thought they were, so they'll win.
Cincinnati at Cleveland:
I hate these games because one is usually low scoring, and then the other one is usually a shootout, and Cinci usually wins the shootout, and the Browns the other way around. I'll go Cinci for this one, though.
Seattle at Indianapolis:
Seattle only has a chance if they wear the blinding neon green jerseys again. Colts.
NY Giants at Kansas City:
Giants. Kansas City is on my "possible 0-16" list this year.
Baltimore at New England:
Baltimore. Joe Flacco is in sync with his offense, where as Brady is in suck.
Tampa Bay at Washington:
Tampa Bay is also on my 0-16 list. But Washington...... I'll give it to Washington.
Tennessee at Jacksonville:
Jacksonville in a tough matchup, I think.
Oakland at Houston:
Tough. Raiders.
NY Jets at New Orleans:
J-E-T-S D-E-FENCE!
Buffalo at Miami:
Bills, and I actually Billieve this one this time.
St. Louis at San Francisco:
San Francisco, as the Rams are the 3rd team on my 0-16 list.
Dallas at Denver:
Dallas reveals Denver as 3-0 frauds. Dallas.
San Diego at Pittsburgh:
Rivers takes advantage of 43-less secondary. Chargers.
Green Bay at Minnesota:
Toughest match of the week, but since Minnesota's at home, Brett makes it count. Vikings.

Byes: Arizona, Atlanta, Carolina, Philadelphia

But back to reality, yea. Johnny Tavares is gonna tear it up in the NHL. Just look what his uncle, John Tavares (yep, named after him), did in the National Lacrosse League with the Buffalo Bandits. He holds pretty much every single record, offensively, in that league. Granted, he's been around since the league started, but still, to be the "Wayne Gretzky" of any sport speaks volumes about an athlete. The Isles John Tavares has it in his blood to succeed.
