Making the mouth movements of the characters match the dialogue. In any case, the episodes are done (You can see them here if you want), but thank you to everyone who offered to help!

Need lip sync help (repost) Posted August 4th, 2013 in Collaboration

I'm reposting this from the animation forum since this seems like the more appropriate place for it.

I have a major project on a tight deadline that I need help with. I'm doing a web series for the Nerdist YouTube channel called "Game Off" (Check out an episode here). I have two episodes due Thursday, and I'm definitely not going to be able to hit the deadline if it's just me.

If you can assist with lip syncing reply or send me a PM. I can pay $150.

Thanks,

PAX rocked. I wish I could have been there all weekend.

Thanks again for signing my card!

We haven't been doing cash prizes since some time last year although I plan to revisit having them.

If I bumped the winners, it would be a 3rd for Explosm and the other would be Larry, which is a sponsored series so at some point the line between sponsored artists and staff artists is getting blurred... So I figured we could just celebrate JohnnyUtah this month.

So JohnnyUtah won't be donating to the United Negro College Fund after all?

Also, I'm looking forward to bothering you at PAX.

Anybody here going to Conneticon? I'm going to be working at the Legend of Neil booth and I'm wondering if any other NGers are going to be there.

Fan'ed/Following/Friended. Damn social networks.

So, when are the Art/Writing portals happening?

Anyone Use Cakephp? Posted October 28th, 2008 in Programming

I'm having trouble with the links on my site. Sometimes they'll add "?CAKEPHP=random characters" to the end of the URL. It doesn't affect the performance, but it looks kind of lame. Does anyone know how to prevent this from happening?

That's kind of what I like about it. If I want to chat with someone I have Adium and Skype, but Twitter is great to just check in on someone with.

Probably because i have TOO MANY friends, the site overloads.

I have a Facebook and Myspace, but I hardly ever use them. I wouldn't consider Twitter much of a social network though.

i have found a love for digg.com though.

I find it useful for keeping track of what people I want to follow are up to without all the annoying nonsense that goes into most social networks and blogs.

I've gotten really sick of Digg. On every page there's always several "OMG TOP 20 OBAMA RULEZ LOLCATS LEGALIZE POT XKCD ETC" articles. And yet I still check it every day... :(

Twitter is a micro-blog, it's sort of like an entire site based around the "current status" on Facebook, except that it's much easier to check and update and doesn't come with the added burden of having to be on Facebook.

Hah, the Fail Whale. I know Twitter has bad uptime but for it's never been an issue for me.

Anybody else on Twitter? Posted August 13th, 2008 in General

I signed up for a Twitter account a while ago because everyone at my company was getting into it. I was really surprised by how useful it is and how often I'm on it. Also, as a "Web 2.0" (ugh) application I give it bonus marks for not using rounded corners, diagonal lines, reflections or gradients in the site design.

I know myself and Wade have accounts. Does anybody else on NG use Twitter?

I'm voting for shameless self promotion. Aside from that:
Mastermind
Burnt Face Man
Scrotum
Beebo

That's all I got for now. And for fucks sake people, don't vote for Solid Snake, he's not an original character.

We really do have GREAT ideas that we discuss throughout the year, but when the time comes, we never want to commit the time it would take to pull them off. Alas, a year later I'm still working on CC and April Fools' still sucked. Maybe next year, right?

I keep wanting to do something big for April Fools day too, but again we just threw something silly together the night before. At least now I know the joy of forcing my friend to do several takes of the line "I'm a poop!"

And thanks for the frontpage.

Explain your project a little more, I'm interested about what it is/how they mark you.

I'm in a class called Network Based Multimedia, and it's basically about streaming video. The final involved setting up an event, getting a decent sized audience, and streaming the event to them. And I sort of fucked us over by advertising it on SA.

We got marked off for the delay and the crash, but got marked pretty good for the content, the audience and the fact that we pulled if off eventually. The rest of it is post-production etc. So at least we didn't get an F.

Response to: I'm doing stand-up ove the internet Posted November 13th, 2007 in General

Alright, wow. I'm an idiot. I honestly didn't think that many people would be interested in this. We just needed enough to show that there was a dedicated audience.

We'll have a recording of it up soon. But it's basically all the same stuff as in the youtube video. Sorry if the stream sucked. If it did, you'll be glad to know we're probably going to get a C on this.
