I really recommend that you get a Wacom brand tablet if possible. Most likely, you don't need the newest stuff, so try ebay.

Are you using the original Linksys firmware? If not, it would be worth a shot to try installing custom firmware like DD-WRT. It is pretty easy and it might work out for you.
