Let me clear one thing up here for you. Tropic Thunder was a comedy, Obama is a politician. It isn't the same thing if a contovetial statement is made in a comedy and by a politician.
But when it comes to the police officer, he was dead wrong. The guy was just doing his job, and I thought we were all beyond the race card. The last thing he needed to do was throw the race-baiters on both sides a bone.
It will never end, I am afraid. Even though now there isn't as much outright racism, people still live in fear of being called a racist. So if you disagree with someone of a different race you must instantly be a racist, because people only see race because they are so worried about being, "racially sensitive." If we would put the bad times behind us and stop trying to make up for past racism there would actually be less.
