You know that feeling where you can't blow your nose-- it's just a terrible, inexorable wall of something holding firm stuck deep in your nostrils?

That sounds like inflamed nasal passages/swollen mucous membranes.

I blow my nose, nothing happens. I can't sleep. Nose drops are virtually ineffective.

What were the nose drops?
Have you tried a nasal decongestant or antihistamine?

Isnt that the truth.
I have noticed its mostly Koreans and Japanese that genuinely do that here, while Filipinos do it to "make fun."

When putting the "V" sign on top a person's head, it usually is done to comically "demonize" that person rather than just give that person Bunny ears.[citation needed]

At 8/21/08 02:07 AM, NickDaPwner wrote: virus scan

I will just elaborate a little.

Here are some free tools that will find most if not all keyloggers.

Assuming you are using Windows, Spybot has a scan but can also show you what is starting when you start Windows, with added information of the processes which msconfig does not give you.

AVG free has been able to find key loggers for me before.

If you do not wish to install a whole program, you can choose to do an online scan from Symantec
However this method requires a constant connection to the internet, and can be slow.

You can also open the task manager to see if there are any unknown programs/processes running. Any suspicious items can be Google searched to check what they are and what they do.
Although a really good key logger can hide itself from being shown in the task manager.

One last thing would be a hardware key logger.
Make sure the keyboard is connected directly to the computer and not another device.
Cameras can also capture your keystrokes.

At 8/21/08 01:01 AM, Peacekid wrote: Also I get a pain in my left side after running for a bit, so how do I prepare for P.E. in the morning without eating enough or eating too much?

That pain is most likely your diaphragm.
The heavier, more rapid your breathing, the more you are making your diaphragm work.
The thoracic diaphragm is a muscle, therefor can get tired and will start to cramp.
Since it is a muscle, you can build it, so practicing breathing techniques and running/exercising more will help with the pain.

Does that something have to do with "omg youre still living with your parents?!?!!"

I suppose what I'm asking for is advice on how to tell my parents. I'm leaving on the 4th of January and I want to tell them, but I don't want to hurt their feelings or make them angry. I just want them to support my decision.

Maybe you can try to make sure they will let you live with them again, if/when the time comes.

So for people who moved out do you have any advice for me in any areas of anything? Other than, "I can't believe a girl influences you." Because to be honest they never did and I've left girlfriends including my recent one on the subject of moving.

Why doesnt she move? Make it so she comes to your state.

I'm not doing this for a desire of freedom or anything, just I want to try this.

Then it seems you have already made up your mind.

In California? That would be a no.
Considering you are working 40 hour weeks, thats roughly $1000 a month after taxes.
So you are pretty much left with enough to pay rent & utilities for a shitty apartment or studio and buy food.
Essential yes, but far from decent.

Do not blow in/on your electronics. Doing so can force foreign material into them.
Electronics these days are more sensitive than a simple NES cartridge.

As for the card error, what exactly is the error?
Does the camera still operate normally?
Is it still possible to take new pictures?
Is it possible to scroll through images stored on the card?

Provide your cousin some earphones for the volume problems.
As for the need to repeat what he hears, you can offer to limit his entertainment use if his behavior does not change.
This is, of course, under the condition that you are the one paying for internet access and TV service.
You can also try wearing earphones yourself to block the noise.

As for the know-it-all uncle, just try to be polite, even if he is annoying. When he tries to give you advice, kindly remind him of his sons issues and ask how his job hunting is going.

If all else fails, you can make it to where, depending on their threshold, they do not wish to stay there any longer.
