Its simple: there is a lot of spam and immaturity in Newgrounds. Even with the mods banning every spammer they can, there is no way they can destroy all spam in Newgrounds because of alt accounts.

This is why I present a solution: lets deactivate all accounts created on 2006 and later, and lets activate one year each year. That way, when they ban you, you must wait 3 years to spam again.

It appears that someone has been trying to break into at least one account (and judging by the logs, quite a bit more than one) by trying to brute-force the password. Probably some kind of attack. So I'm taking this opportunity to remind everyone to make sure they have reasonably strong passwords (letters, numbers, and symbols if you can help it, and nothing that can be found in a dictionary) and to keep an eye out.

Also, if this happens to you, let us know here so we can keep an eye on what's happening. You'll know because your account will complain of too many login attempts despite you not trying to log in.

I have a no-ip account that points to my computer, and works perfectly. Of course, it doesn't work when my computer is off, so my idea was to do a PHP script (hosted somewhere else) to check if my no-ip page was up, and then redirect to it, else show me a few files I have backed up in that other host.

It works smoothly, but the only problem is that I use fsockopen() to check if my no-ip page is up, and if it fails it prints an ugly big warning message.

Is there any way to not show some warning message in PHP? I googled some time for it and didn't find anything.

By the way, if you want to check it my page (in the other server) is http://martinfixman.com.ar, and I currently stopped my apache connection (so the no-ip account will be down).
