Today while driving home after hanging out with some friends, I decided to stop by a gas station and pick up some energy drinks so as to not crash my car and the like due to sleep deprivation. I figured I'd get Monster or something and pay out the nose for it, but when I looked at the shelf, I saw...

SHOCK WAVE: ENERGY DRINK

It seemed legit; same size, same shape, same everything. Except the price.

2 for $2.22

Seeing as how every other drink (including Monster) was 1 for $2.39, I figured "Why the hell not?"

It wasn't the greatest taste in the world (as if energy drinks are suppose to be) but it worked just as well as any other drink I've had, and not only that, but I still have one left over sitting next to me (see picture) and I saved 10 cents!

Go me!

Subliminal Messaging...TRY IT!

Ask her what she was going to ask him...

And if she gives you an answer that explains why she would:

a) Go into the bathroom with him alone

and

b) Get punched in the face

Forgive her. But I doubt any kind of question to ask anyone can require a bathroom and then result in a fight, she's probably lying.

In the mean time, does anyone know of a program that deletes files?

I am currently trying to reinstall a game that has been giving me errors and has stopped opening/working. I tried to uninstall it using the control panel AND the CD, but whenever I try to install it, it tells me there's already an installation in progress. I assume this means that there's already an installed copy of this game on my computer that needs to be removed, and that the traditional ways of removal are not "fully" working. So I need a program that deletes things, no questions asked.

Isn't there something like killbot? Not sure what it's called...

What's really concerning about this is that with DLing you don't know how good or bad you have it. The best downs I have are 300kb on greatly seeded torrents, yet I've never seen my up higher than 25kb.
I'm reading about partial dling though, and it looks promising.

2. uTorrent has been going back and forth saying I do and I don't have incoming connections...
3. My cpu seems to be doing less repeated UP down UP down, but was just going on an all out benge, and has now calmed down...look!

Random Issues:

I've got a few problems...

The first is CPU activity. At first I thought it was firefox, but apparently my CPU is being worked up every 20 seconds or so. It will be under 10% and idle, but then will shoot up to 60-75%. This will cause firefox to freeze. Not sure what the problem is. Check out these screenshots:

My cpu while I was typing this...

The processes for the first CPU screenshot ^

CPU when I finished typing this...

I have Word open, iTunes, Firefox, and MSN open. At first I thought it was due to an add-on I had, ReloadEvery, and so the cpu would freak out every time firefox pages would reload, but I uninstalled that and the problem is still happening.

Side note: Why does firefox require so much memory! IE only takes maybe a 1/6th of that! I know add ons and cutomization has its price, but that much?! Maybe I need to find a new browser...

In regards to downloading, I'm having problems with uTorrent. I've always had slowww upload times, but apparently it's abnormal, and I need to do 2 things: Port forwarding and get Incoming Connections.

According to this website and instructions...

I am getting no incoming connections. So I looked up my router model (Westell 327W) and followed the instructions. It says I have to paste my router's IP address into my browser. (The IP being 192.168.1.) but when I enter the address, firefox waits, and then says it cannot connect.
*Update: Apparently I'm now getting incoming connections without having forwarded my port?

Lastly, for some reason I can't get onto myyearbook.com FF says it's connection is resetting? Its been working fine all day, and it's down for just me.

Well even if it's not a perfect relationship, it's not your place to say.

There's no "law" that says I can't have my own opinion and my decision to do something. Of course it wasn't the most moral thing to do, but you can't always just do what is "expected" of you.

For one, barely any people kiss hands anymore, so it's a little odd.
Apparently not, otherwise you wouldn't be in this situation.

So if she thought it was cute, it would be a different story? No, it wouldn't. Everyone I've talked to, as in, all my friends, said it was a cute move. And it was. Kissing someone on the hand is cute, whether or not you think so. Just because she doesn't like me doesn't mean the action in itself wasn't a good one.

I don't do something about it though, especially when they already have a significant other.
If I were to like someone in a relationship, I'll wait and see if the relationship they are in works out, and if not, then you can go from there.

It's been 2 years, there's no "waiting" to be done. I did what I did to figure it out. To see if she liked me and was in a shit relationship or not, and I don't regret finding out. Otherwise I'd be stuck thinking "what if"?

On the flipside...So I kind of know what you're going/what you went through..
And listen to Knorpfdog, he has good advice. I WAS just trying to empathize with you, you don't have to be insulting me just because your situation didn't work out. You're being unnecessarily hostile here, because of your own failures. So stop calling me out on mine because you're too insecure about your own.
Obviously, if you had done things right, you wouldn't be here complaining about it.

I'd being "hostile" because you're all being pricks. The same way Vincoid was a prick to me before. You guys think that because some poor 15 year old saps come in here looking for advice that you're the oh-so-wise GOD and that you know what's right. That's shown especially in you, when you say that "if you had done things right, it would have been different". That pisses me off, because it has nothing to do with what I did. It's not as if I had made the "right" move she would have fallen for me. There was no "right move" there was only: Find out or Don't find out. I chose to make a move and find out.
Just because you think it would have been a better idea to do nothing instead and just sit on your hands, doesn't mean I agree. I didn't come here asking "What did I do wrong? Ok now tell me I'm a failure"
I wanted to know how I should respond, and what I should do. But you guys didn't reply for 2 days (and yet "teenhut.com" replied faster) and things already developed. I don't expect you to be on time, I expect you to not be assholes. But I guess I expected too much.

It's called being romantic...everyone else thought it was cute.

Also, they have someone already, leave kissing and stuff to THEM.

Ok I don't understand what you don't get about "I thought she liked me" but when you think someone likes you, you want them to start "kissing and stuff" with YOU, go figure.

On the flipside, I know what you were going through, just recently, I had gone on 2 or 3 "date" type things with the same girl (she was single though), where we would just hang out the two of us, lie in the grass together, go get food together, they were really fun days.
Then when I asked her to homecoming, well, she said yes and then changed her mind. The full story should actually be just a bit higher on this page. So I kind of know what you're going/what you went through..

No, that's different. You went on several play dates with a girl without making a move, effectively throwing yourself into the friends only trap, and then only when it was too late did you ask her to a meaningless highschool dance (Homecoming? Come on, Prom at least)

I've come here after making my thread although I think most of my complaints have already been stated.

But basically, the format and interface is poor, and makes it difficult to find anything of use, the categories are too vague, and that there should be less "Youtube Featured" (see thread) and give more to people who aren't popular...yet. Such as "Best of all time" and "Recent entries" and "Best of today/week"

The hell if I know. I guess scouting is to make sure a user's art deserves to be in the portal, and once that happens it can be rated like anything else on the site.

Forget the art portal, I'm still trying to wrap my head around the front page ads.

Yeah, as far as I'm concerned the art portal is a poor idea, and has been done even more poorly.

I mean, it looks nothing like the Audio or Flash portal, there's no "Best All Time" or "Recent Entries" and the categories are extremely vague compared to the Audio portal's, especially the million-and-one ways to call a song "Electronic"
