I'm stuck on the MAG Beta, so I'm not sure how many trophies I'll be getting soon.
So I've finally warmed up to MAG. It's definitely one of those games you need to play for a while before you get good at it and enjoy it.
This has got to be the most team-reliant game to ever come out. Most multiplayer games can be won by a guy or 2 tea-bagging everyone in sight. But this game makes you feel when you're on a bad team, and let's you know by making you take a giant cock up your ass for 30 minutes. By the same token, you feel when you're on a good team, and let's you know by making you have an extra happy ending throughout the game.
It's frustrating when you're doing awesome, planting charges, destroying bunkers and AA batteries, only to have them defused/fixed because you're team of retarded monkey children can't be bothered to have a coherent strategy and just run around shooting things. But that's why I like it; you need to rely on your teammates to cover your ass. This game makes you feel fragile, and your actions meaningless unless you do it together.
I feel like running around, yelling "I'm Spartacus!" or "Remember, Remember the 5th of November", because this is the closest thing to how an actual war would be fought and in a war, you rely on your team to kill the enemy, not just yourself.

It looks like it comes down the abilities. While the humans are more gun/mech, the aliens look like they can turn invisible, do some kind of earthquake move that sends out a radial blast of energy, and summon purple mist and birds.
Needless to say, it'll be filled with 13 year olds trying to go for the mech every time.

So the MAG beta is such a cock tease. I download the Beta from the store, which was 300 MB. Fine. Then I downloaded a 37 MB patch. Okay, I'm guessing they're using the old Beta and just updating. I'm cool with that. Now I have to download 1.8 gigs in "updates". Updates?!? Fucking updates!?!? Jesus fucking christ, why not just throw it in the original download? Or the fucking patch? And it's not like the download is consistant; I should have had it done by 4 PM, but I'm only 50% done after 10 hours.

The Saboteur goes gold. But Pandemic was shut a few days ago so whether it was rushed or genuinely completed is up for debate.
It's been looking pretty close to done for a while now, so I imagine that the game wasn't rushed. Maybe a few bugs weren't completely worked out, but some one will patch them.

I sat Correll Buckhalter as punishment for LOSING .90 points in the NG Fantasy League, and I ended up losing that game by .42 points. He got 8.10 points today.
I benched Kevin Boss because Eli never throws to the guy, especially in the redzone. And of course, today, he gets 2 TOUCHDOWNS and 76 yards, leading to a massive 19.60 points.
Domenik Hixon blows, and almost never gets anything on returns. But today he decided to whip out his dick and slap everyone with it as he went for 162 yards and 16 receiving yards. That's 9.70 points.
I benched Micheal Jenkins because Atlanta never throws the ball, and when they do, it's never to him. 7.60 points.
I kept Jason Witten starting because he used to be Tony Homo's favorite target. Now they're just fuck buddies. Only 4.30 points.
Dallas Clark. One of the most explosive tight ends in the game. But apparently his end was too tight for Manning today. Only 6.30 points.

I like this much better than paying. You can essentially pay a flat fee at the beginning of the year and receive premium themes, Qore, special DLC, and other goodies that us broke people can't get.
