I recently upgraded from DSL to cable internet.

My cable modem is in the computer room, and I want to access the internet in my bedroom for xbox live.
The only thing I can think of is to buy a switch and a long ass ethernet cable and rout it to my room...

Is there a better solution???

That's pretty cool. I get comped to a lot of the MMA events that happen here in Vegas (I know people in the casinos), and i've met quite a few big names. It's strange for most people to meet them, but when you're a trained fighter like myself, and you meet somebody like Chuck Liddell when he was on the top of his game, and think to yourself "Wow, this is a guy that I know would probably kill me" it's probably even more humbling.
