I totally recommend Wordpress. It's probably the easiest to set up, and it's growing rapidly, meaning it's got great support. It's totally free too, and hopefully, you wont have any trouble with it.

NO language is too "nooby" to malicious in some kind of way, especially ones that have direct access to your hardware and files.

So I've been playing around with C++ for a few days now, but I still don't get what std:: is. I know it has something to do with namespaces but is it short for anything (like int is integer)?

I believe std = standard, possibly. I don't know if that's right, but that's what I've always thought it meant.

Most Irritating Game For You Posted November 2nd, 2008 in Video Games

Well, I searched around for a few minutes, and I didn't find anything like this; however, if you DO find something, then you can let this thread die, but I figured it would spark some nice discussion.

With all of that said, what was the most irritating game you have ever played? I'm not talking like irritating like, didn't ever play again, I'm talking like, you got angry at your TV. I'm talking about you almost throwing your controller, or you almost breaking something, or you DID break something ( Ouch ).

I'll guess a lot might say Halo 3, but for me, I have several picks. I'm not a generally angry gamer, but when I was little, I would literally CRY because I lost at something, which, yes, is childish, but I was 2, and I didn't care. I'm not kidding, I actually played games starting at 2 years old. I could beat Super Mario World by myself at 3.

My choices:

1.)Metroid Prime 3 (for Wii)

The puzzles were great, and I got stuck at this one point, and almost broke my Wii controller(s).

2.)Super Mario World (also for Wii)

I got stuck more times in this game than any game ever before that, so when I beat it I felt proud, but there were about 4 places, where I almost broke my TV. I hit my Wii-mote against the TV several times, and had to sit away from the game for like, 2 days to mentally recover.

So...those are mine, what would yours be?

ALSO...

How would I get the program to end if, say i=5

Do you use google at all?

Anyway, the solution is a Do...while loop.

Like so:

[Pseudo-code]

#include <iostream>

using namespace std;

int main()

{

     do

     {

          cin >> blah;

     } while ( blah != bleh );

}

She was his foster mother. Jesus was put into her womb by God, and Jesus was the Son of God.

You don't need a queen for a kingdom anyway.

something bad happening to Google, ever?

I was thinking, like, a few minutes, ago, and I came across an anomaly, which I might make into a flash. Anyway, feel free to take my idea, and use it, I love it though.

Anyway, imagine a few scenarios, if Google HAPPENED to want to play a joke on it's users one day.

1.) You search google, you get a screamer.

2.) You search google, and it gives you a page like: "I don't feel like it," several times before it actually searches anything, and when it does, it brings about minimal results.

3.) You search google, it closes your internet browser.

Have YOU ever thought of things like this? If you have, or do, please share some with us!

I wish I was the owner of google, because, I would totally play jokes all the time. Most likely the screamer, because it'd be freaking hilarious; it's great when you don't expect things.

So...thoughts?

Few C++ Questions Posted October 17th, 2008 in Programming

So guys...I've come across some interesting questions in C++, that I think are better to hear from experts like yourselves. Anyway, I'm about to leave for school, and these are just a few questions to answer at your leisure. :)

1.)Does C++ have a generic data type like C's (void *) ?

2.)Is there such a thing as a template function that generates new versions at run time, and if at run time, they're not being used, gets rid of them?

3.)Is there a way to write a generic data type function that doesn't bloat your code in pure C++? I know of ways to "Hack" C, and use (void *)'s, and I don't know if that's the only way to do it, I'm just curious.

That's all I've got for now. If any of these could be answered, it'd be wonderful. Thanks so much for your time reading these, hopefully, you all have a good day today. :)

Because, as we all know, it takes 10 years to master HTML.

CSS and HTML also somewhat co-exist, so learning two things at once is of course, impossible.
