Is there any easy way to decrease the size of an mp3 to get it to fit on this site? i have a few songs that are 5mb or more... and cutting them up just sucks.

I'm talking about bob marley stoned, not grandma esther's arthritus stoned.

are you bob marley? or are you grandma esther?
fuck off man, i'll enjoy smoking and whatever affects it has on me. and now that you mention it, my arthritus hasn't hurt as bad either.

Response to: Anti-Homosexuality? - A Challenge Posted January 6th, 2006 in Politics

It's just become slang. For example: "that's so gay" they don't actually mean what they're referring to is homosexual, just negative in some way. kinda sad. personally, i don't say it, because you just sound idiotic using it in such a way.

another html question Posted January 5th, 2006 in Where is / How to?

in my signature, i used the proper html code for a link to appear in a new window (i know because i've used it elsewhere succesfully), but it still comes up on the same page. Is there any way to have a link appear in a new window?

hey man, it's no big deal, but i agree with pie. personally, it's easier to read things when they're spelled out and the grammer is correct, but that doesn't mean the ideas you have aren't cool.

For some reason all your topics are what ifs.

unlike insertpie, i think what ifs make for good conversation.
but whats scarier than zim's idea is that that is exactly what death is in many people's opinions.

man, i'm getting really sick (haha) of these people with bulimia and anorexia. if you "suffer" from it, i'm sorry to offend you, but what's more idiotic than starving yourself? to death?

I really don't think they'll find a way of producing more than the 8 notes that currently exist, but i've been wrong before...
maybe a new sounding intrument, or affect, that replaces distortion, which replaced clean.
on a side note...
did you know many affects like the flanger, the wah-wah, and others were deamt by jimi hendrix, and he had them made as he described them?

Response to: your earliest memory? Posted January 5th, 2006 in General

I remember my best friend at the time getting pushed off the top of a big slide. It was at least 30 feet high... or at least thats what it look like from up top... when i was no older than 4. Anyways larry (my friend) ended up getting a concussion and i don't think anything happened to the big kid that pushed him... but i'm pretty sure larry is still plotting revenge... fifteen years later....

Response to: Do you think... Posted January 5th, 2006 in General

Here's what i think:
Rythm is an essential aspect of music, yea?
Rythm is also based on time signatures, 4/4, 3/4 etc...
Numbers are infinite... (see where i'm going with this?)

So yea, things may get to be really simmilar to something else a hundred years earlier, but with the endless combination of rythms there will never be a COMPLETE end to original music. That's not to say that all of it will be ripping off something similar. I don't know though. I think that new ideas are constantly being thought up, and I doubt we will see an end to that in our lifetimes at least.

Response to: I need an idea... real good one too Posted January 5th, 2006 in General
