Nah I think that the only right way to fully enjoy it would be during a giant mosh with dozen of emo kids to crush... Then you take their fucking crying heart and put it between two slice of bread (with some ketchup and stuff) and TADAA there you've got your McMetal.

Hey Casualty you're from Belgium? Lol, we're neighbors XD

Goddamn you lazy cocksuckers, make it anyways. It benifits all our ears, whether its in the competition or not . haha. And this is another "free" advertisement thread in disguise...

for now. haha.

Dude you're fucking right!
Here's the stuff, it's an extract from a song I made for my band.
The thing is that my guitarist took back his toneport so I'll have to wait for him to let me use it again if I want to record a real brutal breakdown :p
But anyway, I hope you'll like this little foretaste :)

Hi everyone, I hope this collab ain't dead!
Do you still have my part? I thought I sent it to you.

Response to: Metal, Rock groups: Want publicity? Posted February 18th, 2008 in Audio

Well that sounds just FREAKIN AWESOME!!!!!

Hell yeah I'm in!!

Just tell me if you want me to make something new or you'd like to put one of my songs!

Response to: Help for an epic song Posted February 2nd, 2008 in Audio

Pure-Metal-UTA => I know what you mean but I just said that I don't want it to sound "metal"! You see? Of course it can have some acoustic guitar riffs, but no distortion! :)

Fuoco => This is pretty hot, it will immediatly go into my favorites! It has some catchy riffs and great melodies! I will be a good source of inspiration in terms of rhythm and drums! So thanks a lot man :)

Response to: Help for an epic song Posted February 1st, 2008 in Audio

About Flobbacks choirs, the link you gave me works, but I can't put it in sf2 (I use FLStudio, yeah I know it ain't the best log I could use but I like it cuz it's easy and sounds pretty good anyway) cuz it ain't a "valid sfark file" o_O!
I'll try to find Roland Orchestral Rhythm soudfont and maybe the VST by Edirol. I'll give you my impressions :)

I'm saying all percussion: Timpani, Bells, Xylophone, a drumset!
You'll want a full orchestra simulation too!
and to top it all off: The main stuff in a metal band, rythem guitar, bass guitar, and lead guitar!

Well man I don't want any guitar in this song :p I want it to be a "full orchestral" stuff! And yeah, I know that I must find a drumkit! And orchestral drumkit! But I don't know where to find it...
And don't worry, I've got GPO, which works very well! I also have Magnus Choirs, this VST rocks!!
So thanks for your advices but I don't want to do an epic metal thing, just epic! :)

Response to: rappers wanted Posted January 31st, 2008 in Audio

Well unfortunately I can't help you cuz my english isn't that great (I have a little french accent when I do hip hop >_<) but I'll watch this project very closely! :)
Good luck man!

Mind sharing? :)
I liked what you posted, and hearing it GPO'd would be cool :D

Well I won't post it now cuz I just don't have the time to mix it and as it ain't a final version, I don't want to either :p
So when I import the whole thing and give it some GPO sounds, although it sounds better, it still sounds unfinished and kinda crappy (well in my opinion). But don't worry, I just must finish the midi version first!

Meh, will defintley sound better with non-midi version, so its okay for now i guess. Like the drums.

Well I've done a non-midi version using GPO and it sounds much better! But I still must find some good VST for the drums, because they don't sound very great... Anyway, I'll keep going and maybe one day I'll come out with something decent.

Response to: Help for an epic song Posted January 31st, 2008 in Audio

So, what do you all think of what I've done?

Response to: Help for an epic song Posted January 31st, 2008 in Audio

Name-goes-here => Wow thank you, this rocks! That's not realy what I'd like to do, but it'll be a good source of inspiration for another song I'll make!

joshhunsaker => Are you giving me the title of a song to listen to or the title to give to my song? Because if you want me to name it that way, I firstly must finish it! XD

Nintechno => Well here's what I have so far! It's not that bad (well I think) but it ain't very cool either! I'll go get the soundtracks you gave me, I hope I'll find some inspiration in them :)

Response to: Help for an epic song Posted January 30th, 2008 in Audio

jrayteam => Thank you sooo much for all your advices, I finaly have got the begining of something! :)
And about the songs you posted, the second one is very close to what I would like to do! I'm still seeking a good VST which could recreeate orchestral percussions!

WritersBlock => Thank you too, I think that what you said will help me finish my song (well "finish" isn't the right word :p)!
I just need to find more variations!

Yeah something like this! But with less piano and a less "jazzy" rhythm lol!

Response to: Help for an epic song Posted January 28th, 2008 in Audio

Rig => That's awesome!!!! But what I wanna do is more like an "adventure" theme, for an action sequence! Epic and fast, with strings, piccolo, trumpets, orchestral drums and stuff! 6/4 (or 3/4) for the rhythm, and tempos around: 120-200-180-150-200 (or something like this).

Nintechno => That's the kind of post I expected! :) I think it will be very helpful to me!
You realy understood what I want to do, and gave great advices!
If you can give me other movies, or songs I can listen to, it would be awesome! :)

Response to: Help for an epic song Posted January 28th, 2008 in Audio

Well glad you liked it! :)
But I'm still in lack of inspiration!

Well erm, it's far from what I want to do! The melody is cool, that's true, but it's too electronic you see?
It would rather look like something like this!
So if you could help me find some more, it would be great! :)

Help for an epic song Posted January 28th, 2008 in Audio

Well hello everybody!
I don't post very often here but this time I realy need help!!
As you may notice by visiting my profile page, I mainly do metal songs.
But I've always wanted to do one thing: a freakin epic stuff!!

Here's how I see it: it's slow at the begining, then fast, then slower, then fast again and it would suddenly end like this.

Yeah I know it sounds very approximative said like that, but it's all clear in my mind :)
I just need some inspiration! I would like something like a pirate theme, you see? But I only know "He's A Pirate" (from the Pirates of the Carribbean movie)!!

Please help me, give me some song titles, bands or even little riffs you think would be great to use (I just need something to start with)!!

I've got GPO, and I'm getting EWQLSO Silver Edition so don't worry, I've got good stuff to work with :)

Just help me getting started!

Hey why not?
I might be interested but can ya post a sample of your voice? You're more low guttural or a high screamer? Maybe singer?
And for PandaKore, how long have you been playing guitar? If you want, ya can listen to my songs (audio section) or visit my myspace.
Anyway, why not?Do you use FL Studio? Guitar Pro?
