I have a hard time believing even an autistic person couldnt tie their shoe until 16 years old so you do have a disorder that kept you from it. But it took me a little longer than it should as well and it was embarrassing. My parents assumed I knew how already and I tucked my laces into my shoes. I was a preteen when I learned. Thats really sad someone could go into teen years not knowing and without being mentally challenged.
