I can't be arsed to read most of this disscussion so ill keep this short. First, this is the first thread that ive seen that hasn't degenerated into a flame so koodos. Anyway, I think religion is nessesary because peple are afaraid of death and while there is nothing wrong with that that fear did degenrate into a few nasty incidents i.e. the jihads today, the religious right attacking new age religions, blocking of gay rights, blah blah blah... i stick to stuff in the last century.
While I'm not monotheistic i think the idea of a monotheistic god is helpful to most people i.e. like 80% of the earth's population (not sure about that, please tell me if im wrong about that number) because they need to focus their ideas into one place.
Anyway, I believe in the duality of the gods, elements, blah blah blah, so the idea that God ar gods created physics sounds reasonable enough for me.
Anyway not sure if this was any useful, but thanks to anyone who bothered to read it.

k space is basically going to be the next step in our technological and cultural advancement. so far the government and a few corporations are trying to launch ito space and get a foothold. wat we have to get into space is pretty ineffective but eventually we will get into space with relative ease (space ladders or superconducting launchers). so wat happens when "the masses" have the ability to get into space wat will happen? does the government get control over wat is basically nothing or will we finally be free from governmental control of where we live, create and do with our lives?

They have an advisor role in a grand congress he rules or governs an area of land and is responsible for the day to day governing of an area.
He has the abiltiy to veto the supreme leader.
He can inact local laws if a majority of the people in his governing area ask or agree to it.

law enforcement
There would be an amount of officers proportial to the general populace in the area say 1 officer to 20 citizens.
They would be called to a term of one year mandatory.
They can continue to serve after their term is finished if the people he helped before respect and approve of his decision.

commerce
Free trade... none of the bullshit income tax or social security crap i will have to deal with in twenty years or so.
Ability to run a buasiness how you want it at whatever price you want to set it without government intervention.
Private trade will provide the neccesary incentive to keep the prices reasonable.

health care
The governmet will not provide it no matter what.
Private companies will provide it.
Hospitals will be government built and maintenenced but privately staffed.

government finance
The government will have one tax... a sales tax of around 8%-13% imposed on everything we buy or spend money on.

prison system
Ok too bad im saying go death penalty screw putting them in jail for life.
Um misdemeanors are on a 3 strikes your out basis, after the third stike u get put in jail for 1 week and it exponentially grows each time 1w->3w->9w etc.

army (might not be neccesary if its a world wide government)
Called to serve 4 years anytime you want between your 20s and 30s mandatory.
They can reenlist after term is over.
They can choice to be in any place in the army you wish to be in as long as their isn't a shortage in any other position.
