The rules say:
"Post your art IN THE FORUM, do not simply link to another site for people to view your art. You are welcome to link to another site to view a hi-res version of your picture, but please link to it with a smaller version of the image that fits within our guidelines."

Ah sorry, I forgot to add . Sorry I meant to show the artwork in the sense that I wasn't full of BS, and yes those images are hi-res. I shall correct the latter two links (which are the ones I believe are linking to deviantart

Weapon Designs? Posted June 30th, 2010 in Art

Hello everyone, long time no post (about 1 1/2 years mereckons) and in that time I've become very proficient with 3d work, even being drafted onto a game in development.

However, to fill the gaps in my time, I was wondering if anyone had any sketches of their designs to share for me to make? Weapons and the like preferably, but anything you have, really. I'll give credit for those that I upload (and will try and PM the contributors to notify them)

Here's a few pics of my existing work

3 years is....3 years. No big deal. Love shouldn't be constrained by the barrier of age, and as long as you're happy sod what anyone else thinks. You two are happy, so you should stay that way.

So yeah, ask her out. Can never be worse than any of my attempts...

In the Book of Revelations, John of Patmos labeled Nero and the Roman Empire the anti-christ, using imagery of Babylon from the Old Testament (see Book of Isaiah). That didn't materialize.

Then in 500, St. Martin de Tours so firmly believed that the anti-Christ had been born and was going to usher in the end of the world that he even got the Pope on his side. Again, humanity survived (close call)

In the late 12th Century, Christians again believed that the Anti-Christ had come, this time based on the alignment of the planets. (Yet they survived)

The anti-Christ was again born into the world in the 14th Century on 3 seperate occasions, again in the 17th Century, twice, and then in more recent years, during the World Wars with Hitler, Stalin, all of Germany (a collective anti-Christ), Lenin, Marx, Mao, Bush, Hussein, etc. (Yep, humanity is still here)

So predictions of the 'anti-Christ' have been going on since the dawn of the original 'Christ', except now we have the internet to pass on these doomsayers' nonsense.

Brilliantly explained. I mean, come on! Tony Blair + Alanis Morissette = Tony Bla[irA]lanis Oh no! the IRA. Tony Blair and Alanis Morissette are in the IRA! Stupid bloody crackhead. Besides, China is becoming more powerful than America, particularly with that fine me that the banks have gotten into and have left us to pay for

His dad's Kenyan, which would place him as....African. Instantly there is a hole in your theory. Good thing I'm apathetic in terms of religion. Also, Nostradamus is well-known to be fraudulent, and when you consider the amount of times the world was supposed to end, why shouuld this time actually be any different. Its just a bunch of extremists who look to start these conspiracies and rumours to monger hatred and ignorance

Quite rightly said. This film is a rip-off of The Bodysnatchers, which in turn is a rip-off of the original version of I Am Legend

Lmao, obviously the guy who made that has never been with a woman. Probably too busy masturbating to the thoughts of an Aquawoman.

He lives in Japan, right? He'd be masturbating to giant-eyed girls with 5-foot long flourescent-green hair

Response to: Opinions on Gordon Brown Posted September 29th, 2008 in Politics

I absolutely hate him. The labour party has forgotten the they represent. They are out-of-touch with the people. Their plansand schemes have all but failed, and Gordon Brown is living in denial, and he has proven to be completely incompetant at running a country. Not getting enough money from taxes? Increase the taxes then! That's the last thing you should do. In fact, it's the opposite. That's just one expample of incompetance.

I'll stop there

Response to: Worst internet communities? Posted September 7th, 2008 in General

Got to be YouTube. I once posted a comment about a Halo Movie Trailer (supposedly), and I answered with the TURTH (that it was pathetic) and 10 people called me a fag. My comment karma was -14 roughly. Although the 9 Dragons Community is pretty awful too.

9Dragons is losing members so fast because the game's designers do nothing to sort out any problems (seriously, they've gone a year without fixing a very annoying error) and the members on their forum treat everyone else like crap, ESPECIALLY the people new to the game

Dependant upon budget. Free: Gimp. £400 ($800) Photoshop CS2/3. GImp's alright, but hasn't got as much flexibility and options as photoshop (which is at a stupid price)

Response to: Why do some people don't like anime Posted September 6th, 2008 in General

People have the right to their own opinions. I'm quite interested in manga (its proper terminology), mainly for the depth and largely-unrecognised subtelty and complexity often found in manga. Yes, thereare exceptions: manga which is generally poor and lacks any of the majority of my points above.

I may not be able to understand Japanese, and most probably never, so narrowing down my range of manga.

I would also like to point out at this point I'm getting into the swing of srawing and creating manga, not so much reading/watching it, although it is a pleasure for me to do so.

Many people are normally put off by the strange designs, and the girls with almond eyes. The key thing to manga is (albeit not ALWAYS the case) to exagguration. If a few stands of hair may be at an odd angle in real life, manga artists will take that and turn that into three-times as much. I recently, through a book, found that BASIC manga for girls has an amazing depth to it. 12 archetypes, all with subtle differences. there are about 12 different basic eye shapes, and when you look from one to another you can't see the difference, but with a face, becomes so distinctive. Again, subtle depth.

It's all a matter of personal taste, and I can't hold it against you if you thinks it's a load of rubbish, but remember this: Manga is (generally) using subtlety, depth and imagination
