The Lady in Red is the name of a Antagonist of Dream Nation and The Sakata's Legend series

Background:

The Lady in Red, otherwise known as Hannara (Hann-Air-ah), started as a simple girl going to Dream Academy. She was often made fun of for her red hair, which she got from her Link! She was known for getting lost -- thus being late for classes. She loved to learn and worked very closely with the Professors wife.

However, this all changed when one day she was walking back to her dorms and a sudden storm happened. This shocked her because storms were rare in the Sky Nation. Soon, the halls got longer, darker and the thunder got louder! She found herself walking backwards! She had then bumped into a man -- he looked like a janitor of some sort! He looked at her and then the window. He said "Mighty storm out there, eh?" he continued to look at her. He was a short man with a mustache, dark eyes and a gimpy leg. His name tag read "Reggie" which to her must of meant he was employed. She later replied with "It's not normal!" as she looks away from him.

Soon after, he walks away down the hallway. Hannara immediately ran back to her classroom and explained the event to Mrs. Canning about the mysterious janitor! Mrs. Canning replied with "We don't have a janitor at Dream Academy!" she said in a worried tone. "Hannara, the school is magical! It cleans itself! It's always been that way!" said Mrs. Canning. Hannara just starred at her and slowly backed out the door leading out to the hallways. She began to run as fast as she could down the halls and into a corridor. She got half way through until she was stopped by the sound of glass shattering! She slid down the corridor and fell to her knees. She looked to see what she slid on and found pools of blood and broken glass -- almost like mirror shards.

She turned around and saw more windows, she was surrounded by them! She turned back around and the window in front of her was shattered! She took a few steps forward until she heard a "Whoosh" sound from behind her. She didn't want to look, but she did! A tall, skinny, gray-skinned figure stood behind her! Its eyes were big and empty. Its legs were thin and its feet had no toes! Its neck and figures were long, nails pointed -- it had no ears either!

It spoke to her, slowly hovering towards her!

"I am the Nightmare Lord, my child!" it said!

"I am here to take you, your outer spirit no longer lives in the light of kindness!" it said

"YOUR MINE!! it yelled!

"What do you mean?" Hannara said, covering her face from the terror of its face!

"Your Link now thrives in my spirit, she has grown hate for the Host -- Now you shall too!" it continued!

Soon, the room became completely white and its image more clear! It hovered towards her even more and raised its hand!

"You will now do thy bidding, young one!" it said!

The room rotated -- spun and spun around Hannara! After, she lost control of herself! She couldn't speak nor move! She could only hear and see -- as a new her came to life! Another being took her over, spoke for her, moved for her -- and there was nothing Hannara could do!

The new Hannara called herself the Lady in Red, Ruby Queen!

Characteristics:

The Lady In Red is commonly seen in many shades of Red, Purple and Pink! Her hair is described to be messy in some areas and neat in others. She also has several beads, ties, pieces and braids in her hair. She most commonly wears a helmet of some sort on her head. This helmet has an eye piece on the left side that slides down, this is her Ruby Eye. The Ruby Eye is an enchanted ruby that allows her to see through area effects and allow her to see in the night! In some games, she will also wear a mask as a disguise.

The Lady in Red is known to be hostile, insane and a serious control freak! She will SCREAM if she losses and will SCREAM if she is called any form of names! She kills without thought, she hates everything and everyone!

She also has a serious obsession with Rubies and will KILL for them! She wants to become supreme Queen of the world and will stop at nothing to be it! She also hates mirrors -- mirrors can seek the future and past of someones life -- which angers her!

She is also known to throw fits and will even destroy her own palaces to either get attention or to keep others from finding her ruby stash!

Also, when she pillages a village or a town, she will write the name of it in the victims blood! Which is seen in one the the upcoming games!

Abilities:

Now the Lady in Red is most legendary with her abilities, so much that nobody really knows what they are!

She can control your mind!
Transform into her Link in any form!
Escape enchanted bonds spiritually, but still be locked up physically!
She can capture your abilities and spells in a single ruby!
She has the ability to transform people into her minions!
The ability to teleport with or without her ruby!
Her speed is AMAZINGLY quick!!!

And so much more that has not yet been discovered!

Design:

The Lady in Red is short, about 5' 4" and is around the age of 18-19 years old. She rarely leaves her scepter behind, most commonly holds it with her at all times. She also holds pouches of Enchanted Rubies on her hip. She also has cat-like claws on her left hand, which can be detracted.

Yea, I have had some discouragement. I've had a few people tell me that what I do is useless and will never amount to anything. I hold my head up either way, but I just wanted to prove them wrong and I think I might have! I also wanted some criticism on my work because I have always been afraid of doing so, I never showed my work as much as I wanted to.

I thank you also, it means a lot to me to hear great replies and support. I am going to learn flash eventually, I do know GML and Ruby, but its kinda useless here on Newgrounds most likely. Thanks a million for your support! :)

Basic Summary
I have been longing to create since I was 6 years old. I have always wanted to design video games, movies and even become a master of the arts. I have worked hard and did some things that no other 6 year old would have known how to do! I created websites, designed games, fixed VHR's (LOL), drew pictures right off of cereal boxes right to a 'T' and started writing a long-lived story.

I have always been obsessed with the ocean and the sky. Thus, created my own unique style of art that brings a warm feeling. Growing up, this is what I would see in my head over and over. Almost like a world, between worlds!

Now, I'm quite sure you think this is too much, or maybe perhaps I'm just chatting along here, but this is something I have never done before! I have never showed anyone other than my family of what I can do. I have been afraid of what people, like you, would say! Afraid that I'm not actually any good at what I do, or its nothing to be proud of.

This is why, today, I am posting my heart out! I want to know! I must know!

My list of talents are endless! However, allow me to show you my game design ideas!

I have been, since 10 years old, interested in game design. I have been through so many programs, codes, engines and I never found what I'm looking for. So many ideas, but nowhere to put them!

But, finally, a program did surface! Game Maker 7.0 was found and I went crazy, but also afraid! Why afraid? Because I was unsure where to start, how to use it, how to make a good game! I never knew whether or not I'll succeed! However, that never stopped me from carrying on. I never gave up and I tried for the first time. -- Made a million mistakes!!

Yes, I thought I was mister hot-shot who thought he could make the best game on the planet unlike any other. I started with no direction, no story, no planing! I was defeated hard!

Finally after a few years, I then got myself a grip of what I was doing and the ratings started coming in!

This was something I had never expected, people actually liked a game I was working on. Just read the comments alone, its amazing what people were saying. Now I'm using RPG MAKER VX ACE and its been a great experience so far. I have designed a few games off it, but before I share I would like to make my introduction and ask whether or not this is something I will be good at!

Hello, my name is Kevin Ryan Smith and I am a writer. For several years now I have been writing a book called "The Unsung Prophet" and it has become so far a great success. From composers like Daniel Martin from NewGrounds to Digital Artists like CeraSo from Deviant Art, I have gained much input and respect for this project.

Its basically a story about a boy named Kamon who's father was the king of Luckayia Region, his father and his royal family had followed a prophecy that "The son of the Great King of Nations will be the chosen one to restore the great Elementis Gods if they shall be corrupted by evils hand." Ganatora, Kamon's father, heard the warning bells go off in the distance, Luckaya City was under attack by an unidentified army. They reacted to the call and gathered the soldiers to the gates preparing for attack. The battle intensifies, destroying buildings and walls--killing many soldiers and civilians. Russell, Kamon's uncle, took Kamon down the escape tunnels below the castle courtyard and waited Ganatora's return.
The battle ends and Russell takes Kamon back into the castle to await his fathers return. The first men to enter the throne room was the Generals, they wore hoods and carried a pillow holding a sword. Russell knew what has happened to his beloved brother and demanded that Kamon was to be taken out of the room quickly. That dark day, Ganatora the Great and father of the soon to be prophet had not survived to battle and so the royal sword had been passed down to Kamon and his journey shall begin. They later learn that the attackers were Elementis warriors commanded by the Terra God thus showing that the Elementis Gods had been corrupted and that the Prophecy has taken place. -- I think that's a good beginning description! ^.^

Now the very reason for this whole forum is to seek some help on building an online flash series for this project, since I have very little skill nor knowledge with flash animation. I have drawings, maps, scripts and music and along that a few voice actors and FX sound effects to help get it going.

Well, first off check out your local library for any programming books on Java, that's where I found a book called "Java for Beginners" once.

But if they don't have any, I would recommend W3Schools!

They have simple step-by-step tutorials and they even show scripted examples that really help!
Also, like the other guy said, try that website as well.
