I posted a thread a couple of months ago but it died, so I'm back to give it another go. I'm looking for animators/voice actors to help me bring to life a script I wrote a couple of months ago. A synopsis/description is below.

Cat Planet
After his wife is killed in a freak accident at the pet store, a timid stay at home husband joins up with a faction of rebel cats known as Mongrelcats, to help stop the eradication of humanity by another faction of felines, the Purecats.

The script I wrote is about five to six pages long, so I assume it would translate to a five/six minute animation. I cannot pay any money for the work, but if the series takes off, recognition/accolades and such could lead to more opportunities. Interested parties, email me at jasonrenaissance@gmail.com(.)

Here's a script I wrote for what I hope to be a video short/flash cartoon. The premise/explanation of the title is, what if people acted like dogs? Enjoy.

int. kitchen - day

Jason walks into the kitchen from the garage. Chris is sitting at the kitchen table reading a graphic novel.

What's up man?

chris
Sup dawg?

Jason rounds the corner and in the hallway there's a nice big glob of SHIT, full of nuts.

jason
Oh what the...CHRIS!!

Jason turns back around; Chris is gone.

JASON
CHRIS?! WHERE ARE YOU?!

int. dining room - day
Jason walks into the dining room and finds CHRIS cowering in his cage, where there are slippers and chewed up blankets.

Dude, what the fuck?

chris
What? I really had to go!

jason
I said I would be right back! The grocery store's only five minutes away, you couldn't wait five minutes?

chris
Hey what're gettin' on my case for? You woulda did the same thing!!

jason
Yeah I woulda did the same thing, in the toilet!

chris
It was an excremental crisis!

CHRIS
Did you look in the hallway?

jason

Jason walks away.

Jason is playing Gears of War 3 on Xbox 360. Chris is sitting next to him lounging about.

Suddenly Chris gets up and walks away.

Hey man where you goin'?

chris (O.S.)
Sorry.

Jason keeps on playing videogames. Suddenly his face crinkles up as he chokes on Chris's noxious fumes.

CHRIS (O.S.)

Jason puts his shirt over his nose.

What've you been eating?!

CHRIS (O.S.)

Jason is sleeping soundly in his bed.

Chris creeps into his room, and sits down next to Jason's bed.

CHRIS
(whispers)

(groggy)

CHRIS

Dude, I have to take a shit. Jason, I have to take a shit.

Jason rolls over and turns his back to Chris.

jason
Go away.

CHRIS
(pleading)

Jason sits up.

int. hallway - 3am

Jason kicks Chris out of his room and slams the door behind him.

CHRIS
(whispers)
I tried whimpering...guess I'll bark.

INT. BED ROOM - 3AM

Jason is sleeping in his bed.

Suddenly Chris starts yelling.

CHRIS (O.S.)
(yelling)
I HAVE TO TAKE A SHIT! I HAVE TO TAKE A SHIT! I HAVE TO TAKE A SHIT! I HAVE TO TAKE A SHIT!

JASON
(YELLS)
FOR FUCK'S SAKE!!

Jason is at the BACK DOOR in his pajamas.

Go the fuck outside and take your shit.

CHRIS
Oh my god thank you so much dude! Bros before hoes!

Jason opens the BACK DOOR and Chris scampers out.

Not two seconds after closing the door, CHRIS starts banging on the door.

CHRIS
I'M DONE LET ME BACK IN!!! I'M DONE! DUDE, LET ME BACK IN IT'S COLD OUT HERE!

Jason opens the door and Chris runs back in.

Dude what took you so long!

Jason walks away.

Jason is back in his bed, sleeping.

Chris comes in.

Chris jumps on the bed and takes up all the leg room.

Would this be the place to look for artists, voice actors etc. for a script I've written? I've been using this site since a kid but with college and such my use has declined severely. But I do have a script and I'd like to see if anyone'd be interested in it. The premise is below;

The Perils of Being Hip
A hipster tries to cope with being so cool in today's world while trying to downplay how much better he is to everyone else, usually to his nonchalant chagrin.

I wrote it in the comedic sense; hipsters are so pretentious I just wanted to make something that would poke fun at them.

Ok, Ive looked at both tutorials for animating a gun being fired, but I just have a question: When you are animating the gun firing; 1) Do you use movie clip, or graphic motion tween? and 2) whenever I try to tween the gun movement, it doesnt show the normal arrow, but a broken line. Unless Ive completey fucked up on how to animate a gun being fired. Im lost.

Ok Ive got another question. I want to have a telephone ringing in the background, because the setting is an office. I set it to stream, and repeat, but it repeats it back to back. How do I get it to repeat in 5 or 10 second intervals?

Ok, so I want to add sound for my flash at the beginning for eleven seconds. The only problem is, once the 11 second area is over for my flash, the sound keeps on playing... What am I doing wrong? Also, are there any good sites for sound effects and ambience besides flashkit?

Im just starting out with flash, and wanted to make a little short just to hone my skills a bit. I know I have to onion skin my frames, but here in lies the question. On the first frame I hit the onion skin button and draw my object. Then I go to frame two and my object has dots all in it and stuff, I guess signifiying that it was onion skinned. However, when I go to draw, it draws right on top of the object, and it isnt a trail or anything. Ive tried moving the scene slider for it but it wont extend. Can someone help me please?

I just looked at my start menu, and theres a macromedia tab. I highlight it, and a pulldown pops up with video encoder, dreamweaver, and extension manager. Theres also a folder full of readmes.....

I did it again, ad everytime the download manager window comes up it never says flash media player 8. So I decided to download dreamweaver. Is this ok?

Ok, so I've downloaded the flash mx program and stuff, and I want to start making flash, but I dont know which program is the acutal program to make flash. Could someone please help me? Also, I have a really good idea in my head for a flash (my first flash wont be sprites). The problem is, I can draw, but not proportionately. Is there a program where you can use pre rendered images/desgins of things? Thx for any help.
