the main reason for me to post up this kind of funny topic here is actually trying to get opinion on correct way of learning from you guys. XD

ps. non of my relatives actually support me on learning art. so I have been searching in the dark all the time. lol

the problem I am facing now is because I don't have an outline on how to draw (all self taught) ,

So my idea is..
instead of searching in the dark and creating lots of "experimental" drawing from scratch , I start up from other people works and learn from them. Because I found out that when I photoshoping others pic, it actually force me to put in more effort on looking into the detail such as every stroke the artist draw compare to just looking at the picture.. lol

Felt like something wrong with their eyes.. maybe adjust the angle or size?

I am new to drawing (1 yrs self taught exp) and currently trying to learn how to draw lest deformed human posture..
I just want to ask you guys on how effective is this "reverse engineering" method in helping me to learn how to draw a human. lol..

I did this when I was bored..
what I did was I edit out the chac cloths from a picture, creating a nude ver of the exact same art piece...

in the process I :
-- smudge the excessive clothing such as collar,skirt,shoes towards the main body- learn a new use of smudge....

-- sampling the skin color - from there I learn the correct choice of color used to shade/paint a human skin.

-- paint over all of her/his clothing with the skin tone according to their body shape - I learn how to draw skin folds based on folding of their cloths, some boob physic and some basic limbs positioning.

-- shade their bodies - learn how light shine and darken on complex body posture.

So far I have done this on Ahri wallpapers twice.. lol..
Although it really sound weird but I did learn something from doing this..
I don't know If I can or should upload them here, due to copyright and mature content.. XD

I am new to digital drawing as well, but here are my experiences.

A good digital art require a good software, it is still fine to draw with ms paint well.... if you are one of those hardcore professional artist..

For beginners I would suggesting you start up with handphone drawing tools, (because in phone / ipad drawing apps there are lots of pre-set features that would help you master the basic) well not to sound like promoting a product.. but I would recommend you to try out "fantasia painter" (free or donate) lol

Beside that.. it is extremely HARD to draw with mouse.. you need to be have a steady hand or else everything will out of shape easily.

Professional digital drawing app ( eg sketchbookpro, photoshop, SAI painter) are usually non user friendly in my opinion, the first thing you need to find out in order to use them efficiency is their respective short cuts to change brush size and opacity as well as colour sampling tools.

In places where NG uses yellow as a link colour, it changes to that brown-ish orange after visiting that link. While, for some reason, this didn't seem to be true for my username-link in the top menu, it happens for usernames left from forum posts or in the Credits & Info section of games.
Is that what you meant? (Sorry for asking, but you didn't say anything specific about where the link in question is located.)

Either way, I'm guessing you should be able to fix that problem by disabling your browsers history.

oh.. thanks! =D ha ha.. I actually thought dark orange is a kind of status tag.. like acc which run out of storage space or someone actually give me premium acc... lol
oh.. talking about clearing browser data.. which component I should unchecked (is it cache or offline website data?) so that it didn't delete all my newground game progression? (eg, in a game I have unlocked everything but after I click "reset firefox" or "clear recent history" all my game data gone and I need to start from lv 1 again.. it happen long time ago.. so now I play any newground games)

I can't find info about it throughout the net..

oh.. by the way how to I search back to the one who scouted me? in the old days I find the link listed in my stat like " this artist is scouted by xxx" (where xxx is a hyperlink link to the acc of the one who scouted me) but that info is now missing.. where does it move to ? (sorry my english is bad.. ^^)
