Matt Smith eh?
Aside from looking like a walking corpse, he seems pretty awesome for the role, considering how he's a bit of an outsider.

And I'm spent.

So once again I was having a quiet night in, hubby was upstairs probably watching porn or something, and the new season of Gray's Anatomy was just about to air. I had the popcorn, a bottle of cheap wine, some candles to set the mood, all the trimmings. I was determined to have myself a relaxing night in front of the television.
This was when the drunken Jehova's witnesses decided to show up. And I mean, really drunk Jehova's witnesses. When I opened the door one of them looked like he was trying to get naked while the other just stared at me and giggled while mumbling some nonsense that had probably been his rehearsed introductory speech at some point.
Well that's just great. I've barely finished lighting the last candle, Jack still can't be arsed to come down from upstairs and I have these two fu

Here, I prepared an example to try and better illustrate what I'm getting at:

So I was talking with my husband earlier, we got into kind of a joky thing about all the bottles of coke he'd bought earlier on when we went shopping, and it ended up with him actually getting a bit annoyed with me and going off to play one of those crappy online games for hours on end.
Anyway, I decided to get a bit of revenge (I know, it's childish, but if he never knows it won't hurt him right?), so I took one of his coca-cola's, set it down on the floor, and then all of a sudden I accidentally the whole bottle!

What should I do... is this dangerous?

I'd have to agree. The psychic paper's actually something that makes me smile most of the time they bring it out. Plus it's either that or have the Doctor screwdriver the back door to get in anywhere.

We're all raping the episode harder than is needed though, I mean it was generally good, there were some really sexy dalek bits in there, plus Davros, Martha, Sarah Jane, Captain Jack, they all made the show pleasing to watch.
Not Rose though. No one gives a fuck about Rose. I find it fascinating how Billie Piper actually gets worse at acting the longer she does it for.

German daleks were awesome.

Watching Confidential now, basically the whole "Davros has a secret escape pod" thing still applies, so at least when they next bring the Daleks back they might at least have a plausible explanation for it.

Didn't like the idea of Dalek Caan having a moral crisis either, totally goes against their nature. They should've just left it as him being completely and utterly insane.

Ehh, not bad in itself, but with all the originality of... well, an RTD script.
Seems like people in the Doctor Who universe don't understand the difference between "dying" and "clearly not".

It was also pretty convenient for the Daleks to install a button that made them and their entire empire explode.

And Davies would undoubtedly be hilarious in the role, as for the others I'm not too fussed.

I wouldn't be surprised if he cancels out the regeneration some how. In fact, I'd say it's more likely that happens than it actually going through.

Also, expect massive deus ex machina at the end. There's too much destruction happened for them to leave it as it is.

That goes without saying though. Awesome episode still, I knew there had to be some epic final twist considering there's been so much stuff leaked this series.

Not sure about what's going to happen with the regeneration though. On one hand there's been no indication that Tennant's leaving the series, although the Who team have been pretty good at keeping the big secrets under wraps in the past.
Also as I'm sure I've mentioned before, if there's one thing RTD does right it's giving the audience what they want in season finales. I'm optimistic that it's going to be a full-blown regeneration for us next episode.

Towards the end of the first series there were some rumours that Alan Davies might have been taking over from Eccleston, which would've been lulz.

Now that I think about it though, Ewan McGregor is someone I could see as being an awesome Doctor. Chances are one in a million, but it seems like the kind of role he'd be into seeing as he still does a fair bit of television stuff, and he has that friendly/amusing side while still being able to go all deadly serious when needed.

Davros' voice = the sex.

Oh and as for the Judoon they're bound to be the race used as gimps by the Daleks for this one. I mean, the good guys need something they can at least pretend to stand a chance against before the Doctor waves his magic screwdriver to save the day.

Pretty good episode, much better than RTDs usual stuff. Although it did feel a bit like it was just fabricated around the idea of "Rose comes back, que epic climax".

Indeed.
The fact that this one didn't contain any of the overblown set pieces and CGI that RTD usually uses just illustrated how bad his episodes are when they rely on script alone. God his dialogue sucks.

Davros looks sexy though, glad they've kept him identical to the way he was in Genesis of the Daleks.

Her pink version of Baker's costume in "Destiny of the Daleks" was well ace, too.

Agreed. That was a pretty awesome serial in general, the cliffhanger where you just see Davros' eye begin to glow pleased me in a special place.

Hawt shit.
That wasn't just one of the best episodes of the revival series, but in terms of plot I thought it was one of the best Doctor Who episodes of all time.

If the Moffat-led season five doesn't turn out to be anything short of brilliant I'll eat my testicles. Metaphorically of course.

Davies' endings are just absurdly shitty deus ex machina he throws in at the last moment because he can't think of an interesting or clever way to resolve the episodes. Not one of his season finales so far has left me satisfied in any way.
"Oh shit I looked under the bonnet of the TARDIS, now I can kill Daleks with my SUPER MAGIC POWERS." (Seriously... why doesn't the Doctor just do that again every time he's in trouble?"
