Make sure you set the blur filter to low quality and don't make it too big, that should help a bit...

I did! Your parts rocked, Chomper!

Haha, thanks a lot! I had never made any real flash before except by those silly tests and stickmen. =P It's really great to see people enjoy what I can do! You guys can expect more animations from me soon! =D

Also, I haven't seen your submission, but I really like your other flash! And congrats on that front page! =)

SupaPeeves? Do you have my all three of my parts? You haven't responded during the many times i've asked you that...

SupaPeeves, maybe you could post a list with all the parts you already have, just to make sure everyone's parts were successfully received. =)

That's weird, it should be working. I just tried a couple thing, and figured you might be using the Subselection tool (A), not the Selection tool (V). The subselection tool will only highlight the movieclip even if you double click it, unlike the selection tool.

If that still didn't do it, try selecting the movie clip on your library and then double click it's small preview, like I tried to show you on the image below, so you can move it.

If none of these worked, I really don't think I can help you, try looking or some tutorials for your specific flash version, that might be it. Good luck.

No I know how to animate :P

Oh, haha, sorry. Anyway, to move that cross you should just double-click the movie clip, now you should be "inside" it. You can then drag it, so the + will be wherever you want. Hope this helps now... =P

You need to add more frames, otherwise it can't move.

Right click, let's say, the frame 10, and select 'insert keyframe'. With the frame 10 selected, move your symbol around. Finally, right click any frame between 1 and 10 and select 'create motion tween'.

Having done that, Flash will automatically create the frames between 1 and 10, and you got your smooth movement! =D Once your motion tween is working, your timeline should look like the one below.

Also, this is really basic, so I'd recommend you doing some research or watching some tutorials to help you getting used to Flash! Hope this is what you mean! =P

Are you sure you're doing this? You probably forgot something or skipped some steps, motion tweens are really easy to make.

Well done! I really like it!

I think after the lazer the music should go back to happy and have the white dude still listening to music as the t-rex leaves or something.

Yes?

Haha, thanks, and yeah I considered making it longer and just leave the white guy listening to music for awhile as the T-rex leaves, but I don't know, ending with a lazer is always easier =P. I guess if I couldn't make the ending look cool, it could ruin the whole thing.

I guess I'll try to make that ending, and post it here later to see if you guys think I should keep it or not! =)

Guys... I don't wanna ba an ass, but I think you are getting off-topic way too often. We don't want this thread to die, but we also shouldn't flood it with chat.

After TommyVF posted his part, for example, I gave him some suggestions and stuff. I believe he never got to see them though, as right after that lots of people started talking about pointless things, and my post got burried under a few pages of fight and then gay stuff =P

Also, theactionscripter just posted a preview, and I gave some advice I believe would really help him improving. I wouldn't want to see it forgotten cause other people went off-topic...

Sorry for my poor english onde again, I just want this collab to be as good as possible! =)

But my PART just got much better!

Well yeah, this is certainly an improvement, but I think the drawings could still use some work. Have you tried using the brush tool? It's pretty easy to get used to!

Also, since there are only two characters and a few more mouths, you should really consider putting a lot of effort on them, make some details, if you use the line tool, bend them to make it look smoother, and all that stuff. Good graphics are the key to a good tween animation!

You could try adding some shine. Of course that depends on the light source. Also, The forehead does look odd.

That's pretty good! How did you do that lazer though? It looks like a white fill with a blue outline and some glow. Maybe it'd look more lazer-like if instead of the blue outline you added some blue glow... but that's just my opinion, it's your call. =)

It's good to see some great parts are arriving! I'm working on a second one too. It should be ready tomorrow, but it probably won't, cause I feel lazy... but don't worry, I'll finish it!

R-Type Meets Shoop

That was simple, but pretty cool, actually. However, I think the lazer doesn't really look lazer-like... try making it white with a blue glow filter and some blur, it might look better! =)
