That's why I am wondering if there's any faster/easier way to do it.
I was about to say that. Edit multiple frames should work.

A motion tween actually, because he said he's using a symbol. A shape tween would work for a regular vector rectangle though.

Thanks. Saying no can be hard, but unfortunatly ensuring the whole collab's quality is more important then pleasing a few individuals.

...yeah...
Pencil is free...
And no, you can't get Flash for free legally.

Keep up the good work ppl.
Link to what i did lol wooo sheezyart advertisen
That's pretty good actually... it even looks like you traced it from one of Adam Phillip's movies. But if you didn't, great job.
The problem is his using Pencil, not Flash. Have you tried here?

Well Mr-No-Name said he has Flash 8. CS4 doesn't export as Flash 8 though, you'll need to save it as a Flash CS3 file and then ask someone with CS3 to save it as a Flash 8 file.

If this is used in the collab, I quit.
Sorry.
Gotta agree with Makeshift, some of the parts shown so far are really bad, and no one seems to care.
So how much are you paying? You obviously don't expect anyone to animate for you for free.

I know it probaly seems really basic but im still stuck on it :3
If the answer is the "Ease" thing can u explain how that works XD
There are a few simple ways of doing that. Both of those examples have ease, it gives that gravity feel, making the tween start fast and end slowly, but it doesn't solve the triangle thing problem.
What I did on the 'good' example was create a movie clip and animate a stationary jump with simple tweens, so only his y position would change. Then I put it inside another movie clip and tweened it sideways. The combination of the two movements make it looks like that arc.
Another possibility is to use a motion guide... which is kinda complicated, you should look for a tutorial about those, I find them annoying to use, but they can be very useful.
Anyway that's just how I did it, there must be other ways and tricks, keep experimnting and I'm sure you'll find a way you like.
If you need the sound to stay in sync with the animation you should set it to Stream, not Event...

Haha I certainly do, gotta love his stuff :P
This video probably won't solve your problem, but it shows some pros and cons of each program, I think it's worth checking out.
I know that's how Preston Blair would animate a front view walking cycle. Go buy his book, it's really helpful. :0
That's pretty good! There are two points that I think you need to work on though.
Firstly and the most important in my opinion, as someone already said, he needs to go up and down during the loop. Also, right before the leg touches the floor, it should extend completely.
Check out this running cycle from Preston Blair's Cartoon Animation book, hope it helps.
You can always save it as a CS3 file and ask someone you know with Flash CS3 to save it as a Flash 8 file. NO ILLEGAL SHIT INVOLVED. >:0
Nope, you'd need someone with Flash CS4 to save it as a Flash CS3 file, and then someone with Flash CS3 to save it as a Flash 8 file, cause I don't think CS4 can save as 8.
Sounds cool, depending on the theme I might give it a shot.

Then I clicked on frame 25 and presses f6 to insert a keyframe, in the propeetys I selected motion and, this is when things start to vanish. This is usally the backround that vanishes so i'm left with a black stage and a person, if I play the movie you see the backround for a second before it goes to a blank stage.
You need to add frames to the background layer, just because you added frames to one layer it doesn't mean you added them to all the layers, and if there is no frame it shows nothing. According to what you said, the layer with the person will now have 25 frames, while the background layer only has one, that's why it'll just pop and disappear when you test the movie.
What you should do is right click the frame 25 on the background layer and choose 'insert frame', simple as that. Hope I was clear. :P

Well... sorry, I don't know about everyone else, but I personally think yes, it IS way too gay and inappropriate. I mean I'm okay with all those dicks and that stuff about embracing newgrounds humor... but that part crossed the line, it's just sick and has nothing to do with newgrounds culture. As someone said, this is suposed to be a tribute to the song, which is beautiful, not a mockery.
So yeah, that's just my opinion and I thought I should say it.
Hey guys... I've been away for awhile so I still haven't done much on my part since I last uploaded it. I should be working on it on the next days though... so yeah, just thought I'd let you know that I'm still here.
Not sure it this is the right place to post that, but those are really awesome!

Yeah I had the same doubt when I was making mine... Bug since some of the parts already had necks and I didn't have any great idea for a background I thought I'd include the neck...
There you go, this shit took me quite awhile >=0
