I think you misunderstood. On Garage Band, You should be able to write your own music and make loops out of THAT.that is perfectly fine and ok, as long as it isnt ear trash. what you got banned for is for using premade loops that came with the software. and just pasting them into a song.

If you're talking about the "Best of week" section on the audio portal; that is determined by the system at midnight tuesday->wednesday.
The submission with at least 20 votes that was submitted in the last week, and has the highest score of all those submitted that last week, will be at #1.

If i was to, say, make a reasonable song, what is the best way to try and get that song on the front page? is there a certain criteria like having ten reviews and 250 views? Or does a moderator just have to see it and say, "hey now there's a front page worthy song."? or does the pure epicness make it reach the front page? Thanks :)

YA it is repaired and complete now. my edit in the description says i got it fixed. I just decided to edit it in itunes by setting the stop time farther back until it sounded right. But thanks for your help everyone who contributed.

FYI i just got past my period of time waiting for approval. It took about two weeks. Good luck man!
So i had to make some major changes to a few of my songs on newgrounds. I figured out what was wrong and i went in to edit the file and i uploaded my new file that is fixed. When i went to listen to the song, made anew, on newgrounds, it was still playing the old version. what did i do wrong? Do i have to wait for a period of time before it fixes?
I am actually using Mixcraft 5.1 and i cant figure out why its adding the end piece. its weird that there is no choice.
I made two great loop snad submitted them both before my username was mod accepted. When i just now listened to them after 2 weeks of waiting, the loops are not seemless like they are in my software. There is a 5 seconds delay between the end and the start in both songs. Does anyone have any tips for this?
Hmmmm, Sounds like a good track. If you can also write your own music and are at least decent at singing, then you're definitely in! If not, we'll see. Send me some of your Saxophone Playing and we'll see (If you can't write).
It just so happens i am good at singing and i can write my own music. ill put some up on newgrounds WHENEVER THEY APPROVE MY STUPID SONGS. its been over a week... really depressing
