Right now, since I'm just reading this and haven't been able to think long about it... I only have one idea and it's just a simple character idea.

A ghost. She/He appears homeless/down on their luck. Maybe asking for rides home/to places. Asking Main Character for objects or things to return to the character. Options to be rude, nice, ignorant towards the ghost. Perhaps having a realization that the ghost IS in fact a ghost or something.

But yeah, I will have more ideas soon. Promise.

Response to: Tank Awards, Winners Video Posted May 6th, 2010 in NG News

I got a brilliant idea for those not happy with Tom's choice.

Make your own fucking trophy, and fedex it to to who you believe deserved it.

Or make your own fucking site and wait years and years for it to become famous enough so that you can make nicer rewards and give them to people only to have your users bitch about it.

Response to: Tank Awards, Winners Video Posted May 5th, 2010 in NG News

I thought these creative portals on here were about art and putting your creation out there, not winning awards and becoming attention whores.

I like the idea that NG has a panel to select what they think should get an award and gives it to them for their creations, whether its music or animation. Hard work goes into both of them but they know that they aren't promised anything for it, it's a portal with hundreds (plus) users and most of them submit stuff all the time.

Someone didn't win, so why are YOU complaining. It's not about winning shit, it's about DOING shit and letting others see it/hear it.

Leave the admins and mods alone. You can express your opinions but don't just assume that theres some kind of government-class conspiracy that no one cares and we're all being run by an iron-fisted administration who just picks stuff without thought to win a prize that didn't have to even be a feature for the NG community.

And now, I'm going to finish my rum and coke.

If you dont like eminem get out, says the person that made the thread.
On newgrounds.
In a bbs.
Where hundreds of people can post what they want as long as they follow the forum rules.

You're not gonna avoid disagreement. Not here. Not in the real world.

Besides, eminem's best work is his hiatus(es).

I wish I could make tons of money by writing the same songs over and over again.
Maybe one day there can be rap songs about more than ass, drugs, clubs and how much more money they can make than the average working man.

Rap battle you say?! Hmm.. maybe it can be like another Tupac/Biggy thing and they will both die.

Everyone seems to put science and the possibility of God on polar opposites. The assumption is all Christians believe exactly what the bible says, literally. You know why? Because no one actually gets to know them without calling them out on everything.

I believe a lot different than the norm. I think science can prove the existence of god, but we will never be able to do that. Besides, why find proof? Then there'd be no purpose of faith. Like parents always bailing their children out of trouble. They know the parents are there but only for help and support, no real love or anything.

Why is it impossible for creation and Evolution to actually go hand in hand? Just because one is scientific and is logical doesn't mean there is no creation in it. When I paint a picture, I am using formulas and science to make a color, to even push the paint onto canvas.

So much trust is put into science. Sort of like a ... a... blind faith.
I find it strange how Christians usually take all the heat from atheists. There is always a power-trip with it.
The typical Christian around the place I have been aren't book-smart, science magazine reading nerds. They're people with struggle in their lives and they've found faith in it, not with a telescope or carbon dating, but with feeling.

Atheists don't want God or his rules and Christians don't like being downed just because they won't believe in coincidental existence.

My point is that it's always a closed-minded debate. Science vs. Religion. No one will put the two together and actually look at it all. It's either one or the other.

Response to: Living in a Godless World Posted April 30th, 2010 in General

If you want your faith back, go get it.
A lot of people announce their disbelief because that's what everyone else is doing.
More people reconsider their self-worship or complete disregard to a creator later on.
A lot of people here will argue with you about religion (or the lack of it) and why they're correct and why everyone (especially Christians) is wrong but them because they have science to back them up. The same science that backed a flat earth some thousands of years ago.

No one's completely sure about it, but that is faith.
Like light and dark. There exists no true "dark", just the absence of light. Just because everyone has their light off doesn't mean light doesn't exist.

People seem to want to shove any kind of faith away so that they can live by their rules and thats it.

What i'm saying to you is that if you really feel like things would be better with a belief in something more than coincidental existence, then go for it. All you have to do is do the same thing you did to the faith you had before.

If you like her go for it. Who cares what other people think?

If it were me, I'd make a scientific concoction to make everyone else have horrible, pulsating acne. No harm in that.

Mayonnaise anyone?

I personally wouldn't mind going back a few decades. I have yet to find a classy place around here with nice jazz or piano music going instead of some shitty southern-rock band or hip-hop and dancing whores. I just want to drink and sit and think. Dammit.

Cartooning IS an art. So you can't say its not artistic.

Passion Posted February 4th, 2010 in Writing

I wrote this 4 years ago. It's old, but this forum is new. Enjoy?

A knife in one hand, a flower in the other
Once I was sweet now I'm as sour as her mother
I listened to your sorrows, I've been inside your mind
You're weak now i can tell, oh won't you be so kind.

I can make you feel better, come inside my room
I can show you your paradise
With a slanted pair of eyes
I too live in gloom.

A kiss upon your teary cheeks, my shoulder i will lend
now that you have been weak I ask you to bend.
Deny. Reply. Defy. I have offered care.
I don't mean to shove you now, sorry I pulled your hair.

Have a seat with me here now, I ask of a favor.
I've been seeing you for weeks now and I need a new flavor.
I can't imagine why you'd not do this for me.
'Cause warmth outside and in is always great to savor.

I've torn your shirt and wanted more, please I won't hurt you, selfish whore!
Give me what I yearn for, I'll chase you to the floor, I've locked the doors.
Please don't cry. Stop screaming, bitch. I cared for you now scratch my itch.
Wrists are red now, so are your breasts, don't fight with me, get undressed.

Lying on your back, do you see the passion in my eyes?
The motion is as steady, as steady as your cries.
I've opened up to you now open up for me.
Don't be shy, you know me, I'm a friend.

Now I am done, you don't move yet you can go.
Up and nude, I feel shame grow. I've no love.
After my sin, I reach again in the closet, up above.
As you sit and cry wrapped in sheets, I wrap us both in blood.

I'm pretty positive NG doesn't host things on any other site but NG. And if they do put something up on Digg or whatever, for example, someone's amazing game, they ask first if its ok with the person who made it.
