There are too many different cultures to accurately define what is "correct". And if they are taught that the way you live is "unethical", is it so?

Since no one actually knows what is "right", I'm going with the only plausible answer: There is no "right".

oh come on you guys, just let him pretend to be smart for a minute will ya? Look at all the big words that he used, and probably doesn't understand. Are you gonna make it all go to waste?

fascism is essentially anarchary with an OD of nationalism. Its always Totalitarian, but in a different way than in other dictatorships. The people are kept in line by a strong(but small) and efficient government but also by pure fear

What really bugs me is how Catholics are all expected to behave like retarded Italian Zombies, just blindly following the Pope and obeying his every whim. I know a lot of Catholics are like that, but when I saw The Cardinals at the Vatican Praying for the MOLESTERS when the first reports of abuse were coming in, I was just pissed. The belief that everyone controls their fate is one of catholicisms founding principles

Is it really that hard to judge a person based on their own personal merits and not what they believe?

have you taken a good look at Africa lately? They couldn't nationalize their way out of a paper bag. When I was in middle school they couldn't teach us about the entire continent except Kenya and Egypt since the books went out of date after a week. They should just convert to the skull standard. Plenty of them lying around.

Response to: Affirmative Action: Y or N? Posted February 21st, 2005 in Politics

I disagree with the entire premise of it. I think it's insulting to minorities. What if you're a middle-class, well-educated black boy? Even though it might be nice for you, people are gonna give you special treatment you don't really deserve under the erroneous impression that ALL african americans need special treatment to get anywhere. I don't think race should be a factor at all when it comes to jobs and education. Income and standard of living should though. Its a win-win situation. A lot of African Americans are poor, so they're getting help. But no racism is occuring since poor inner-city caucasians are getting treated just as fairly.

Response to: why do people hate gay people Posted February 6th, 2005 in Politics

I have never, not once gotten a straight answer to what homosexuality is . I've never seen any serious links describing the chemical process that creates homosexuals, or whatever extra chromosomes a person alledgedly has, and of course, there is no way that it can be proved as totally a person's choice to be gay. And the clincher is, I don't think anybody really knows. Nobody should really make a decision regarding another person's life until they at least have all the information

If you choose to do something, it's obvious that you can be punished for it.

I doubt that. I think the entire Eastern Hemisphere would be a smoking crater however. The "Red Scare" came about the moment WWI ended, it would've built up gradually, but without Hitler, we would be on the brink of war with the Soviets by the 1940s. Without the development of the Atom bomb The Russians, and whoever else they'd annexed by that time, would certainly try to invade the west. I do think, however, that we'd have successfully developed" the bomb" some time during this hypothetical world war, then we'd end up having to carpet bomb all of asia essentially.

True, but what benefit would be had by taking it out? Like every president saying "so help me God" on his innauguration, it really serves no purpose to say it. But to INTENTIONALLY not say it speaks volumes.

If you're referring to the Crusades there. the First Crusade began around 900 years ago and was actually a Christian attempt to reclaim territories originally under their control... so both sides were equally responsible for the ensuing conflicts.

So don't be an Ignorent American Please.

If the grandmother, police officer, and diseased child all reside in some woman's belly...then yeah, they're as human as a liver. Or alternatively, they're as crazy as a fox for still calling a womb home.

A fetus that doesn't even have a brain yet is way less than equal to people that, you know, have been born and stuff.

...and they accuse pro-lifers of not using logic in their arguments. What does it matter where the fetus is located? The baby is dependent on the mother either way. If you're going to use a lame "well she's physically attached to it!" argument you might as well go out and say that siamese twins have the right to kill their siblings if they feel too cramped. Its scientifically documented that a fetus's nervous system will respond to stimulii around the twelfth week of pregnancy, along with a beating heart, so what is the difference between you and that fetus?
