Valve are so self-aware.
Quite honestly, I agree with VGCats in that they orchestrated the entire thing to be quite sneaky and spy-like in its release. Notice how all of the leaked vids had exactly the same description of the spy?
I kinda assumed they had copied the description from Valve in the brief time it was up on Youtube.

Guys, it's not that bad. It shatters when backstabbed and only prevents the spy from using the knife for a few seconds, not killing him.
However, even if the shield breaks, the Sniper will be alerted to the Spy, and capable of taking him down with the kukri. After killing him the Sniper will go back to spawn, go to a resupply locker (Or pick smg, locker, pick shield, locker) and be right back on the frontlines.
Though I am a little pissed to see I won't be backstabbing as many Snipers from now on, I think this might be an excellent chance to introduce the cocky shits to my friend, the Revolver.

srsly did any of your read it?it does damgae to them for the rest of their life or until they go to a reload locker because theirs an arrow stuck in them,if you kill them near a wall they stick to the wall it charges faster holds less ammo and has a higher crit chance.jeez
Only the charges faster, sticks dead people to walls, and less ammo is true.
We have absolutely no confirmation on "does perma-damage" or "higher crit chance"

Why would make this and not have an answer?
See, what's going on is that you are trying to find the answer.
You have tried so many times, and yet never succeeded, so you turn to us for help. Ashamed of your utter stupidity, you pretend to know the answer, and pretend this is a test of our capabilities.
