Abstract means there's not a single recognizable shape in your drawing/painting. It is also preferably done manually, since digitally anyone can make such a thing. And it's really ugly and preset. You take composition, colouring and all variables in account of the over-all drawing. The only moment an artist really CAN make an interesting abstract piece, is after years and years of studies.

Don't think you can make something 'special' with Abstractionism or Photography. Seriously kid, just draw some original characters first. Try scanning something on paper.

Hi, I'm a level 1 box. I started out on a production line in the capitol city, but became sentient and settled down in the village. In my short lifespan, I have been used as a coffee-table, backpack extension, can-opener, basically, a tool.

Knockturne, don't take this as an insult, but do it yourself. The interest has pretty much died out, so you might want to take it to a next step by reserving 'Strength' for yourself.

Personally, I really enjoy Subnormality. It looks like a very complex and tiring comic at first and you must be willing to sit through lots of text, but has some of the cutest dialogs ever.

if you're going to make a blocky minecraft character, especially in that angle, make a grid that's one hundred percent straight. This seems like a great example. This way, you can line up things like the face perfectly with the rest of the body.

First pic is okay. Simple drawing but effective in its simplicity I guess. Add some more own personal touches like the lips and nose. They seem a cute direction.
Second pic, eh. Lacks some anatomy and/or proper style choice. You just drew this for jerking off, try making your art for the sake of art.
