Well, if the series ended when L died, then Light would not have died. However, that's not the case. The fact that Near and Mello came into play afterwards shows that the series is still living, and Light can still be defeated. Think about it. If Light won, and Near and Mello died, wouldn't that just make them pointless? The final 12 episodes of Death Note would've been rendered useless if Light had won, so therefore, he NEEDED to die.

Why did Light have to die? Well who wants the bad guy with the the god complex to win? Honestly I bet 7 out of every 10 fans wanted L to win in the end.

Well I watched up to episode twenty four of Code Geass. To the point where Lelouch And Suzaku are face to face, guns drawn and then they pull the trigger. The source i got it from had Episode 24 marked as Ep. 24, and Ep.25. So when i went to watch ep. 25, it was the same one i had just watched. Please tell me this isn't some sick joke, and the season doesn't end there. Is there a different Episode twenty five out there? IF so i would appreciate some help finding it.

I was bored and so I looked it up, episode and episode 25 aired as a one hour special.

So pretty much it was all two episodes in one.

Also from what I read season 2 aired two whole years after season 1 was finished.

That cliff hanger would really sting if youwatched the show loyally since the very first premire in Japan.

Really there is nothing special about it just your average fanservice show which i dislike but stuck around for the mech. Dropped second season as it is utter garbage.

I have yet to see it but from what I understand its completely overrated, it can't be THAT good because whats mainstream in anime is almost always retarded shonens.(I.E. Naruto, DBZ, Inuyasha, Bleach, etc.)

As good of a anime that black lagoon is, it could've been so much better if it had an on some sort of linking plotline between all the arks and if their was some sort of intelligent story behind the awesome gun fights and big explosions..

Sorry its been so long, everyone!

My house burned down on March 11th and I haven't been online since yesterday.

All of my manga is either ashes or impossible to read now and my anime DVDs all were either destroyed or damaged in some way.

Plus my big list of animes is gone now as well and its gonna take me ages to remeber every single anime I have ever watched and make a new list.

No house, shitty insurance, no anime, no manga, no computer for an entire month and barely enough money to rent an apartment for my family and I.

Plus I gotta pay for college tuition on top of that or i'm gonna be out of school....

Just finished the second barrage.

Rating time;

Episodes 1 - 7 had some pretty good character devolpment with Rock and Revy and some with Dutch and Benny.

Episodes 8-12 were somewhat pointless minus the fact it had lots of Hotel Moscow and Triad devolpment. It also devolped Roberta in the unlikely event she will ever return.

Episodes 13-15 was quite different from the rest of the show before it, I must admit. And while being a nice change of pace for black lagoon I found it rather pointless except for having more Hotel moscow and triad devolpment and introducing eda.

Plus the end was pointless, I would have perferred it if the remainning sysbling were to leave and come back as a reoccuring character.

Episode 16 - 18 were kickass, not only did it devolp Eda even further but it also really shows us some insight with the residents of Roanpur.

Episodes 19 - 26 had a lot of Rock devolpment, it also showed us both a darker side of Hotel Moscow and a brighter side of Revy. As I was reading over the past few pages of the club I agree with the person who said it should've ended on episode 24 with Yukio and Ginji leaving coming back as reocurring characters.

All in all, it really felt like just the first season out of 2 or 3 and not the only 2 seasons.

In fact, if I didn't know better and I just watched those 26 episodes I would think it was all a season 1 and seasons 2+ would be pretty much the same as the earlier black lagoon, only with a much more connected story plot where it doesn't go; "I finished fighting Roberta, well shes gone now! Time for the next episode time to go to the DMZ."

Found black lagoon; the second barrage online and am currently on episode 23.

So far my favorate episodes are 11, 12 and 16-18.

On episode 8 of black lagoon.

Its pretty good so far but I have to ask if all the several episode long arks are connected in a serial plot or are they unrelated?

Also, Revy scares me.

Bought myself some black lagoon and just watched the first 2 episodes.

Time to rate it...

I find Dutch, Benny and Revy to be pretty aweosome characters but I find Rock too be extremly annoying i'd perfer it if he left and the story just revolved around the other three.

The graphics, action and sound were all great.

The story was a bit hard to follow at first and it wasn't that great.

My prediction;
This anime seems like its all about gun fights and boat chases for action and doing boat involved jobs for money for the story.

The first 2 episodes are a 8/10 for me.

Anywho there is a "Design your own anime or manga plot contest" in my town and i'm entering.

I'm planning a plot in sort of a magical like world with a dark plot and i'm trying to think of the abilities the bad guys should have.

I already have these ideas;

two bad guys that share the same mind, a bad guy with Voodo dolls, a guy that has over 300 IQ, someone who has an ability similar to Greed's from FMA and someone who can manipulate the current of time.

I wanna make another bad guy or two, any ideas?

Thats good! At first when I found this club I thought it was just filled with people obessed with animes like naruto! So its good to see there are people online that have a similar taste to myself that I can discuss with rather than explain why a 200+ episode long anime sucks.

I like just about every genre of anime there is, including seinens, shonens and shojos. Of course I like other animes like horrors, dramas, romance and mystery.

The only animes I don't like are the really genric ones that last for a 100+ episodes, the majority of gundum animes and I also extremly dislike hentai.
