Unfortunately, we don't want people bitching on "perfectly good threads" or on a new thread.
NG isn't devoted to taking your complaints.

Response to: Welcome your new MODS! Posted June 7th, 2003 in General

I'll admitit wasn't me, but a thread devoted to you hating someone is certainly worth deleting.
Why do you think everyone else cares whether or not you hate him?

Response to: P.R.O.T.E.S.T Posted June 7th, 2003 in Clubs & Crews

*signs*
It's just a petition, not a crew, you know.
Right?

Response to: Message to the clack crew Posted June 7th, 2003 in General

One, try to type coherently.

Two, try to email, rather than spout nonsense across the BBS.

Three, this isn't worthy of it's own topic.

Four, any more of this, and you're banned.

Response to: P.R.O.T.E.S.T Posted June 7th, 2003 in Clubs & Crews

foka and shrike, for posting in this spam thread, I sentence you both to a ban.
Hmmm? Not working? Odd.....

Response to: Welcome your new MODS! Posted June 7th, 2003 in General

It should add some more balance to the spectrum of mods.

el_foka...theshrike.....newgrundling.....ted_easton
..tanner......................freakapotimus

harsh.............................understanding

I haven't dealt with, or really met any mods besides Freak/Tanner, and, to an extent, liljim.

Response to: Welcome your new MODS! Posted June 6th, 2003 in General

Email me while I'm fresh and soft. Before I get harsh like Tanner.

Response to: hum so this is how it all goes down Posted June 6th, 2003 in General

Someone asked to be banned for 5 minutes, but one day is the smallest amount of time a person can be banned for.

Response to: who can lock it first? Posted June 6th, 2003 in General

Locked and banned.
Courtesy of Ted.

Response to: Welcome your new MODS! Posted June 6th, 2003 in General

I envy NGL. Not as another mod, but that he got his first lock and ban before me for an outwar link.

Response to: hum so this is how it all goes down Posted June 6th, 2003 in General

One day is the minimum time for bans, but if you do actually want one, just let me know. I'll be happy to oblige.

Response to: Welcome your new MODS! Posted June 6th, 2003 in General

"Shrike the Banner"
Somehow it doesn't have the ring that Tanner did.

"I Like Shrike" is indeed much better, and if you want a goof rhyme, Shrike, you should be nice ;)

Response to: - The Regulars Lounge Thread - Posted June 6th, 2003 in Politics

Because this thread was actually begun before the PC.
This thread was meant, as it's name implies, it's a lounge for the regulars. Anyone can post just about anything, and it's not restricted by group.
We're not allowing any furthur ones, and this thread was hard fought for, as it was around the time of the anti-mod sentiment increase.

Response to: - The Regulars Lounge Thread - Posted June 6th, 2003 in Politics

Don't think that Shrike and I are any more important than we were before, we're just omnipotent, that's all! ;)

Response to: hum so this is how it all goes down Posted June 6th, 2003 in General

I'll guarantee you this isn't the end of the BBS. I have no intention of changing how I work, except now instead of alerting Andrea when a contraband topic has been made, I'll lock it myself. And instead of alerting wade of Outwar links, I can ban the people myself.

It's certainly nothing to worry about.

Response to: Welcome your new MODS! Posted June 6th, 2003 in General

We could have a thousand mods and the function of the BBS does not change.
All the increased number of mods means is that we can now have more people to help the regular users, keep out spam, and decrease the stupidity that is posted here.

Obey the rules, and you'll do fine.

Response to: Welcome your new MODS! Posted June 6th, 2003 in General

Why would I need to thank you later, when I can thank you now!?

Almost as good as the screenshot I got of my 1,337 posts.

Response to: Welcome your new MODS! Posted June 6th, 2003 in General

And voila! For those of you who were around to see it, I just performed my first mod-duty of deleting spam.

Response to: Welcome your new MODS! Posted June 6th, 2003 in General

You know, it's not particularly intelligent to spam a forum that's filled with mods posting.

Response to: The New Mods Posted June 6th, 2003 in General

I simply can't hide from you.
This forum's your domain, not mine. *evil grin*

Response to: Welcome your new MODS! Posted June 6th, 2003 in General

I can assure you all that the new mods are intelligent, kind, well rounded people.

I can tell you're all going to hate them. ;)

Response to: The New Mods Posted June 6th, 2003 in General

It's fine if you're upset we were made mods, but I hope you don't harbour any resentment. Feel free to stop by the Politics BBS for some more enlightening debate, but maybe you'll see me around the General BBS.

Glad to meet you.

Response to: Welcome your new MODS! Posted June 6th, 2003 in General

Yes, I'm thankful to the people who reccomended me.
I'm usually in the Politics BBS, as it's more my forte, and I don't plan on banning people just because I'm a new mod.
I hope to do exactly what's expected of me, so I'm off to wade through the myriad posts of the general forum.

Response to: - The Regulars Lounge Thread - Posted June 6th, 2003 in Politics

I suppose I'd better wade into the sewage pit that is the general forums.
*dons gas mask*

Response to: Illegalize Masturbation! Posted June 6th, 2003 in Politics

Of course this is serious! Did you truly think we would engage in humour, of all things!
Then we would be cast into the firey ovens of torment for all eternity!

Response to: - The Regulars Lounge Thread - Posted June 6th, 2003 in Politics

Shrike's not the only one!
Thanks to Andrea for the nomination, and to Wade for the acceptance!
I'll be understanding to the users, because I was once harboured strong anti-mod sentiments, but I've come to see the error of my ways, and I'm proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with Andrea, as opposed to grovelling at her feet.

Response to: - The Regulars Lounge Thread - Posted June 6th, 2003 in Politics

Jim, see my private message on snooble regarding these accusations.

Response to: Politics Crew Messages Posted June 5th, 2003 in Politics

In all fairness with the DAG thread closing, I ask that this thread die with what little dignity it has.

Response to: Memphis, My World is a Ghetto Posted June 4th, 2003 in Politics

Unfortunately, FUNK, it has spread far beyond Memphis.
It streches across Canada and the US, and has reported cases as far away as England and Australia.
It has become known asWiggerism. of which I am a stalwart opponent.
