A judge in Ontario ruled today that Canada's laws on marriage were discriminatory to gay couples.
This effectively makes gay marriages legal in all of Canada. Many couples are rushing to say their vows. Could this draw more immigrants from the US?
Or would it push homophobes out?

Well, my concern for protecting Shrapnel's identity was once again unfounded.
I'm glad it wasn't simply a whining idiot saying he's innocent and he made his account before you, or some lie.
It's well within his power to make a new account, and I assumed the intelligence of the average poster was enough that they wouldn't impersonate a moderator.
He's been banned for creating an "I'm Back" topic, and for impersonating a moderator.
And yes, my face is red at being tricked.

We're not debating the necessity of the bans, but trying to bring an end to the fighting that has been going on between the two groups.

As the....somewhat leader..of the PC, (we really have no need of a leader) I support peace between us and the DAG. Certain members of one group may hold animosity for another, but that is not to be influenced by the membership in said groups.
It is inevitable there will be arguments between different group's members, but both the groups should agree to equality.
Just because you're a member of one, or a more frequent poster, doesn't mean you're a better poster than them.
