Response to: German threat Posted January 11th, 2003 in Politics

Just because unemplyment is high doesn't mean the country is about to invade someone. There were plenty of differences, and other factors came into play into the 1930's.
But there is a serious rise in anti-semitism in Germany currently.

Response to: Native self goverment Posted January 11th, 2003 in Politics

Juggalokilla, THEY didn't lose their land. Their great-great-great grandfathers did. And they're still whining about it.
If your great great great grandfather was robbed, would you expect the robber's desendant to repay you? No.
But perhaps that wasn't a great example, because our ancestors stole nothing. They conquered the natives through war, negotiation and purchase. They took all this land by those means, and made it theirs. Have any other conquered race in history been given free land? Life without taxation?. They don't deserve any special treatment. They're just trying to work the system.

Response to: Gays should NOT be able to marry. Posted January 9th, 2003 in Politics

Ok, calimus.
You refuse to accept opinions, evidence, reason, or anything else we can try to show you.
You refuse to accept reason or proof.
I am tired of constantly explaining to you the same things that you can't seem to grasp while you pretend to take a "scientific high ground" over the "unnaturalness" of homosexuality.
I'm not going to waste my time arguing with you anymore, and my respect for you is gone.
Wether or not it is natural is of no consequence. It happens, it is legal, and they deserve all the rights of straight people.
The facts are that they are here, and they aren't leaving. It's not a disease you can cure, It's not a disease period.
Homosexuals are here on Earth, and they are deserving of our respect, and even admiration for standing up against bigoted idiots such as yourself.
Gay people are here, and no matter what the church says, or what idiots say, they will recieve every right they deserve.
I'm not going to discuss any of this so called "evidence" on naturalness with you any more, calimus, and I bid you good day.

I think Palestinians should accept that Isreal is there, Isreal is staying there. It seems to me that things would die down if Palestinians would stop aggravating Isreal.

Response to: Gays should NOT be able to marry. Posted January 9th, 2003 in Politics

It's like you are reading through my posts too.
Man doesn't need to do what is evolutionary and best for the species, and man doesn't do that.
Man does what causes happiness and feelings of pleasure. That is natural for man, and has been for centuries, because man has ruled the Earth for that long.
Some may say greed, wealth and power are the strongest drives, but all of those inevitable lead to pleasure. If they caused displeasure, man would not pursue them.
Clarified- homosexuality is as natural as straightness. Whatever causes a person pleasure is natural.

And you didn't reply at all to the evidence that homosexuals can be parents, or that homosexuality is not a mental disorder. You focused on trying to make me look like a pedophile.
I really hope there aren't many people like you in the world. We can do without that.

Response to: Gays should NOT be able to marry. Posted January 9th, 2003 in Politics

I didn't say I would fuck a pre-teen you idiot. YOu said "pre teens lack anything that attract a person to have sex with them", but obviously if some people want to have sex with them, then they have something that attracts them.
I personnaly would never consider it, but some people do.

I think there should be a trial of Anarchy. Like a smallish country in southern Europe, or maybe a state in the US.
Throw in a million people of so, and see what happens.
I'd join.

Your statements of homosexuality being "unnatural" and such makes people think of Alfred Rosenberg's pseudo-scientific book "The Myth of the Twentieth Century," which tried to give a base for anti-semitism. I'm not accusing you of being as bad as Nazis, but you, like them, cover up an intolerance of homosexuality with a facade of sincerity.
NARTH and such websites seem to think it is also a psychological disorder, and that it can be "overcome".

"Can Therapy Change Sexual Orientation?

No. Even though most homosexuals live successful, happy lives, some homosexual or bisexual people may seek to change their sexual orientation through therapy, sometimes pressured by the influence of family members or religious groups to try and do so. The reality is that homosexuality is not an illness. It does not require treatment and is not changeable.

However, not all gay, lesbian, and bisexual people who seek assistance from a mental health professional want to change their sexual orientation. Gay, lesbian, and bisexual people may seek psychological help with the coming out process or for strategies to deal with prejudice, but most go into therapy for the same reasons and life issues that bring straight people to mental health professionals. "-
http://www.apa.org/pubinfo/answers.html

"Is Homosexuality a Mental Illness or Emotional Problem?

No. Psychologists, psychiatrists and other mental health professionals agree that homosexuality is not an illness, mental disorder or an emotional problem. Over 35 years of objective, well-designed scientific research has shown that homosexuality, in and itself,is not associated with mental disorders or emotional or social problems. Homosexuality was once thought to be a mental illness because mental health professionals and society had biased information. In the past the studies of gay, lesbian and bisexual people involved only those in therapy, thus biasing the resulting conclusions. When researchers examined data about these people who were not in therapy, the idea that homosexuality was a mental illness was quickly found to be untrue.

In 1973 the American Psychiatric Association confirmed the importance of the new, better designed research and removed homosexuality from the official manual that lists mental and emotional disorders. Two years later, the American Psychological Association passed a resolution supporting the removal. For more than 25 years, both associations have urged all mental health professionals to help dispel the stigma of mental illness that some people still associate with homosexual orientation. "
"Can Lesbians, Gay Men, and Bisexuals Be Good Parents?

Yes. Studies comparing groups of children raised by homosexual and by heterosexual parents find no developmental differences between the two groups of children in four critical areas: their intelligence, psychological adjustment, social adjustment, and popularity with friends. It is also important to realize that a parent's sexual orientation does not dictate his or her children's.

Another myth about homosexuality is the mistaken belief that gay men have more of a tendency than heterosexual men to sexually molest children. There is no evidence to suggest that homosexuals are more likely than heterosexuals to molest children. "

As much as people would like to wish it away, or put the blame on someone, homosexuality is not a disorder. It develops naturally in the person's mind. It doesn't happen for a reason, and it doesn't happen "unnaturally". It just happens in there mind, making their preference.

Response to: Gays should NOT be able to marry. Posted January 8th, 2003 in Politics

obviously if people are having sex with them, pre teens must have something people are attracted to.

Response to: magnetism in schools? Posted January 8th, 2003 in Politics

But is something that exists what we can see, touch, teate, etc? That's just electrical impulses interpreted by our brain. They can be fooled. WE need a better way to prove something's existance, but as humans, we are too limited to do such.
Or perhaps it is impossible to prove that.

Response to: Is our culture to sexed? Posted January 8th, 2003 in Politics

This is the last reply I can make today (4 max) so I'll just clarify.
People should be intelligent enough to make decisions for themselves on what to do in every aspect of their lives from sex to shoes.
If they can't sort through fact and fiction, they need to be put down. :)

Response to: Do schools take away freedoms? Posted January 8th, 2003 in Politics

Definitely.
What decisions schools make should be open for discussion and opposition. It's public money going to it, they should have to listen to everyone's thoughts.

Response to: Is our culture to sexed? Posted January 8th, 2003 in Politics

We make decisions based on all the information we aquire. If we see an ad saying "Buy these shoes!" we'll think. "they say to buy those. they don't matter. I'll buy those other ones". People are intelligent enough to know when to listen to an ad or not.
Or maybe it's just me.

Response to: Do schools take away freedoms? Posted January 8th, 2003 in Politics

Yes. Schools need to be more open, and let opinions and debate be more embraced. Teachers recieve an unquestionable power, debate of decisions is punished, and even joking infractions of overly strict rules is harshly punished.

Response to: Anarchy! Posted January 8th, 2003 in Politics
